Deuce is making the roster. He may get bounced to practice squad a few times this year, but they aren't cutting ties with him.

has to cost no more than a comp 5th next year.
has to cost very little on the cap.

but with all these RBs drafted someone has to go in places like MIA.
would they take a 7th just to get a guy off their books and roster?

Mostert has only a 1.2M base but has 441K in active game bonuses.
Very doable IMHO.

Likewise for Jeff Wilson.

I was very happy this year to not blow a draft pick on another Mr. Random Unknown ala Nahshon Wight and Eric Scott, Jr. because they gave Dan Quinn a gleam in his eye.

Wright couldn't even earn a special teams role until Bossman Phat was traded away and Q opted to change his coverage scheme in the playoff game against the Packers because he didn't want to play Wright.

Apologies to Scott, as I hope he develops this season, but I'm not confident at this point.

We should listen to coaches when it comes to specific molds of players. Past that, keep the tools out of the draft room. We are constantly making bad picks and missing on talent because these temp coaches have a special feeling about certain guys.

Cardinals RB Michael Carter could be traded for. Arizona has like 6 rb's on the roster and just drafted a good one.

He only has 291 carries in his career. He would only cost 3.1 million against the cap next year.

He has always been behind someone better Breece Hall and James Conner.

I liked him coming out of North Carolina he is still only 24.

Zeke and Deuce will both be on the team, thats a given. And Rico most likely. They bring in a couple young guys that do well in training camp and puts Jerry in an uncomfortable spot.
