Really Juicy Stanback Nuggets

been saying it for a while now..Stanback is going to be good:D .

#1 owens
#2 Stanback;)
#3 Crayton

Next year hopefully we see:

1. Owens
2. Roy Williams
3. Stan
4. Crayton

Jerry Jones being excited about a player doesn't really get me that excited. After all, he was presumably excited about the following players back in the day:

2. Sherman Williams, RB, Alabama
2nd Round (46 overall) (from Atlanta)
2. Kendell Watkins, TE/OG, Mississippi State
2nd Round (59 overall)
3. Shane Hannah, G, Michigan State
2nd Round (63 overall) (from Tampa Bay)
4. Charlie Williams, WR, Bowling Green
3rd Round (92 overall)
5. Eric Bjornson, WR, Washington
4th Round (110 overall)
6. Alundis Brice, CB, Mississippi
4th Round (129 overall)
7. Linc Harden, LB, Oklahoma State
4th Round (130 overall) [FA compensatory selection]
8. Edward Hervey, WR, USC
5th Round (166 overall) [FA compensatory selection]
9. Dana Howard, LB, Illinois
5th Round (168 overall) [FA compensatory selection]
10. Oscar Sturgis, DE, North Carolina
7th Round (236 overall)

You forgot Henson. But, even though that didn't pan out, I could see why, at the time, why he made the move w/ Houston.

I'm sure being a Cowboys homer has something to do with it, but I have a funny feeling based on nothing that this guy is going to be a heck of a player.

this Stanback worship is analogous to Commander fans thinking that Anthony Mix will make even a little bit of a splash next year just because Cerrato said he was excited about him. Take a step back and think please....it's silly, and sensational, and just plain idiotic to think that an unproven guy that played QB will come in and magically become a decent Glenn replacement. it's just dumb.

If so, great, but to expect it is just pissing in the wind. If, big IF, Jerry puts his WR eggs in this basket and CB eggs in a Pacman basket, and trades up for McFadden, then it will be the worst thing he has EVER done *including Galloway*... i doubt he will though. Only a freakin' idiot would do that.

didn't stanback run his 40 on a bum wheel? also, 4.58 is not that slow......Fitz and Boldin are both around 4.5 in speed, if I am not mistaken, and yet they are dominant. Irvin was about 4.5 and he is in the HOF.

Conversely, guys like Alexander Wright, Randall Williams, etc could flat out fly, but they were basically ineffective as WRs.

Nono, Stanback is an all-world burner...just like Michael Bennett... one can only hope!

Stanback never ran because of the foot. The 4.58 was made up by some draft site.

I still read it.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

You know it's inevitable. Jerry is in love with McFadden. I saw it in his eyes at the combine. The man love was strong. Once we secure Pacman Jerry will set his sights on McFadden.

priceless....

Actually, I could put a price tag on those photos, if he never wants them to see the light of day... :D

I dotn care what Stanback runs..he sure in hell is not slower then Boldin. He's a true 4.5, if he's lucky and He's still dominant. Stanback has Burst, and shiftiness. He reminds me, and dont kill me for it..A faster Marion Barber at WR..
