Tunsil is the easiest of any to justify. BPA. Doesn't get any easier than that. I'll gladly take 5 all-pro offensive linemen. And I am sure Romo would be concur. So would the RBs. This year is probably Free's last year. Draft Tunsil and the running game becomes king. Teams that can run on a consistent basis win. Teams that can run on 3rd and 3 and 3rd and 4 win championships. Give me a line of Smith, Collins, Fredbeard, Martin, and Tunsil and I think we will pound the opposition into submission. We would own the 4th quarter and teams wouldn't be able to stop the run even when they knew it was coming.

They would be amazing to have that starting 5. Especially you grab a guy like Dixon, Booker, Collins later in the draft

Now we still have lots of events left before draft day but I only see two options, taking one of the QBs (Goff, Lynch, or Wentz) or trading down for more picks. The top of this draft isn't especially tons better than the middle of the first to the middle of the second.
There are lots of players that are good that I like such as Ramsey, Bosa, and Jack, but I don't like any of those enough to use the four pick on them when comparable players are easily found much later. In fact, I'm not especially certain that any of those guys are definite stars. And if you are not taking a skill player with a top five pick, he better amazing.

There are far too many teams that feel the same way. Every year we act like there are tons of teams just waiting to get ripped off to move up.

Personally I think you could take the top 20 players and put them into a hat and pull them randomly after you account for the QBs. If you can get someone to give two of those players for one, then yes you should move back.

I can see Stanley going #3. D talent in this draft doesnt blow me away at all

I feel Defense talent is deep though, from top 5 going into 4th and 5th round are some decent prospects.

I really hope to get Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith........Smith if he falls to the 2nd round.

Wouldn't mind a CB in 2nd round do like

Jack in the first
Fuller in the second would be great additions

Grab a 1 Tech in the 3rd and developmental QB in the 4th and maybe a RB like Howard

Treadwell may run a 4.7 40 yard dash...... how far does he fall? If at all...

Im just not of fan of any of the top tier defenders as far as top 5 and in some case top 10 picks. I like alot, but IMO he isnt good enough to go top 5

I am still not sold (yet) on using #4 on a QB...defense (Bosa or Jack)...then get a 2nd tier QB if feasible

Yes but them Fuller Bros have talent. The one that the bears drafted had a better rookie season then Byron Jones. ....this guy is a legit first round talent and they know how to make plays on the ball

Jack or Treadwell for me. I wouldn't worry too much over QB. We'll get him as an UFA depending on who Jerry sets up with the murder rap this year.

He is good, maybe even elite. But even elite LB's dont go top 5. Kuechley wasnt even top 5 and I think he was better coming out

Look at the talent (at the time) that went before him. Claiborne was considered the best defensive player, Mark Barron was also considered a beast at safety. Kuechly still went number 8 I think it was. If he was in this draft he would be top 5 pick

The team will never draft a QB at 4th overall with the intent of Romo playing another 3 years.

The only logical method of taking a QB that high is if you trade Romo and go full rebuild, like the Colts did. Teams don't spend top 5 picks on an insurance policy at QB.
