My point was that no player after playing less than a full season, especially a QB, should get a large contract extension. Tying up too much cap space in a still, unproven player is high risk. I think that the media has spoken so much and so well about Romo that some people forget how short a time he has been a starter in the league and how inconsistent he was last year. If puts up 3500, 26-12, this year I'm sure he'll get his 60M dollar contract and well deserved at that point.
