Rebuilding the Defense

:laugh:Look again and cite a source with what you state.

Bill Parcells used the following quarterbacks for the Dallas Cowboys: Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson, Vinny Testaverde, Drew Bledsoe, Tony Romo, and Brad Johnson. Parcells coached the team from 2003 to 2006, and his tenure included a mix of established veterans and young players.

He brought in Vinny for one year after Q smoked his way out of the NFL; by the way Q was all on Jethro
Sean Payton convinced BP about Romo
Bledsoe was the other one BP brought in
Hutch and remember Drew Henson? those were on Jethro again during his former baseball player phase

Some want to forget about Campo for some reason and the GT coach before him. Parcels had a d— mess on his hands, when he got here and that was because of Jed.
Actually it wasn't Parcells It was Parcells fault we didn't get the guy who actually brought in Romo that would be who are next head coach should have been if Parcells would have been a man and told him that hey you should stay with the Cowboys because I'm retiring next year and it will be your job and it would have been his job...

And coach of the Denver Broncos Sean Payton should have been here That is Bill Parcells fault I don't care how big a mess he had he gave up and left and didn't finish the job and I'll never forgive him for that that's what we get from hiring a New York Giant head coach he never done anything after he left he never became AGM so I don't want to hear how good Parcells was I don't even hear how good Jimmy Johnson was he didn't do anything after he left either if they were so good at this player personnel and team building either one of them get AGM job would say by the way coveted they literally both dreamed of being AGM for the NFL football League and they didn't get it..

I don't want to hear about this overselling Bill Parcells yes if he'd have stayed here two more years and finished a job or if he'd at least been a man and told Sean Payton not to leave for the Saints and that he could have the job here 'cause I'm going to retire early he could have told him on the down low he didn't have to announce it but he lost us sean Payton who got us Tony Romo sean Payton picked Tony Romo....

Parcels is the reason we had Romo. The crappy quarterbacks started with Campo.
NOPE It was Sean Payton..

4 steps to improve defense:

1. Fire Ebermess and hire an aggressive DC from a good defensive unit
2. Get a top 1T DT
3. Get a real MLB
4. Get a good FS

Now you have the makings of a solid defense

Carter was the quarterback he inherited along with Hutch. I don’t need to site a source I remember clearly what happened. Jerry hand picked Carter over the scouts. Broaddus talks about it all the time. Hutch was highlighted in Hard Knocks when Campo was doing the Temptations song. Parcels brought in the rest because he had no quarterback when he got here.

The head coach gets the credit but Payton was the reason Romo was here.

That's what I said I guess you're disagreeing with me because I made it clear I also made it clear that Bill Parcells is the reason we don't have Sean Payton as a head coach that's a big set back imagine Sean Payton and know Jason Garrett wow i'm pretty sure that would have changed some things I don't know how much but I'll always blame Bill Parcells for quitting early and losing Sean Payton a year early by not admitting he was going to retire He's a loser he's a quitter and I will never appreciate a New York Giant X head coach you came here and although he got it going on the right path he quit early and I don't want to hear about Jerry Jones..

yes I still holding a grudge against him and i'm going to always again he's an ex giant anyway what good is he...... When you start something and walk away you did not do your job well You know if somebody comes and only installs half your new AC system in your house and then leaves and then you gotta try to hire somebody else who says hey he did a really good job getting half done Really how much credit you're gonna call a guy a quitter he's only gonna get paid half.

You didn't touch the presented comment. Parcells went to the playoffs and no crying further. He loved horse racing...so.

Ok on the Romo coming from SP but you have to be be kidding on the Tuna not being good, how many can get to the PO with a Quincy Carter quarterbacking the team. Even if Tuna had told SP to wait till he retires to become the HC in waiting what to say Jed would have gone for that .
As for JJ not for him would not have those last 3 SB would have now (thanks to the H. Walker trade), not like Jed came up with that trade proposal. As for the Phins Jimmy wanted to get rid of Dan Marino at his age and the owner wasn’t going for that. Kind of like my raiders buddy always said about Tom at the end here, he would always say you guys trying to get that last hurray from the old guys on D (too tall and gang) and everyone else had younger guys at that time. So not much can say for Jimmy in Miami.

1) I strongly suspect Eberflus will be the DC next season if for no other reason than you can't keep firing your DC every offseason.
Yeah Jerry has basically come out and said he's been responsible for 3 DCs in 3 years. He's more or less saying, I'm not changing DCs again that quickly. Eberflus will be back next year.

I said he was a quitter He didn't finish his job sorry I'm saying that neither one of them got their dream job which was absolutely I remember both of them wanted to be a GM and no team hired them so they weren't good enough to be a GM just because things worked out at at the stops they made doesn't make them right for the GM position.

I'm sorry don't talk to me about him he quit he left us hanging he cost us Sean Payton You're skipping over that part if he would have told Sean behind the scenes he was gonna retire the year after and that he should stay he would have and we would have had Sean Payton so I'm not listening to anything you have to say 'cause that's my opinion you're not shaving me off it it's been my opinion since then he left us unfinished period end of story....

Just posted this on a reply back to someone else.

He had his boss come behind his back and added a player he didn’t want on the team, so he didn’t have the power that Jed told him he would have. Respect your posts but we will agree to disagree here.
