He probably doesn't need it to walk, but make no mistake if this guy is healthy, he is a huge difference maker for this defense.
Hope your right but not buying until I see it on the field. I think he's mentally ready but how will his knee hold up in camp and throughout the season, brace or no brace. You see many athletes who sustain a major injury and create new injuries trying to protect the original injury. If this experiment works, and he turns into another Sean Lee, I'm delighted. If he becomes JAG, I hope we don't hold out to long to find a replacement.
Like I said, I hope JS just blows people away with his ability. He's apparently earned it with all his work to this point.

The brace he has been using is not for the knee.

The OP shows I was right to think that he could pick up his foot just as the George and Breer articles were. Of course you could not bear to give me credit.

Also, the stills showed the range of motion. Try and keep up.

Not sure why you think a picture of him standing next to two people proves anything.

Not sure why you ignore the preponderance of the evidence with nothing to demonstrate your preferred outcome.

His nerve has fired and he can lift his foot now. Deal with it.

Except you're not acknowledging the huge range of other possibilities such as his nerve never firing to the extent of providing him full functionality, at least in terms of performing as a professional athlete.

That's the difference; I'm right there in concluding the current status of his nerve issue as improving but not yet (if ever) fully recovered absent of any explicit evidence to say otherwise. That conclusion is based on the fact it's been reported he'll have to wear the AFO when he plays, as well as the fact Jaylon himself has said that playing WITH the AFO is not going to be an issue for him.

You look at a still picture of him in casual time away from the field where he's not wearing the AFO and prematurely conclude "See, I'm right....he's healed everyone!!!"

You purposely and rigidly interpret the available information just one way, discounting the other legitimate possibilities of why he may not be wearing AFO at THAT moment.

Stephen Jones has said he may not need the brace. And that the nerve has fired. So i dont know what to think anymore. Im just being optimistic

Wow, thanks for the update. I've not heard official word of that before.

Did you already forget the conversation we had before indicating that I knew he was still recovering strength as outlined by Stephen Jones? And exactly what point do you think I am trying to make when I say that the season is near 6 months away?

But please quote the post I made that disputes that.

And spare me. You went from insisting that there was no improvement in the nerve and haranguing people for ignoring Fisher and Chao whose rhetoric you posted to moving the goalpost to this new plausible deniability in a invective filled post that got that thread in question locked. You then harangued people for not acknowledging your new position while never acknowledging the change in new threads.

Stephen Jones said he may need the AFO to play but they don't know right now and will have to see the situation as it is later. You just seem to struggle with ambiguity.

And on a final note since that November interview where he showed reporters the AFO in the lockerroom we have gotten dozens and dozens of pics and videos of him. In none of them can he be seen to be wearing an AFO.

Where is it, Cal?
