Replay Timing

The head coach has to trust his players, he felt the ball hit his hand. Coach should have taken that into advisement, which he probably did and said it’s not worth losing a time out.
You want someone to blame, blame the system, the head coach. It is what it is. It’s not propaganda. Nothing is perfect.
In Schottie's defense Flournoy felt SOMEthing hit his hand.. There was no guarantee it was the ball. He could have nipped the punter's shoe. That's why you wait for the replay. What I can't believe is that the jumptron didn't have the correct view strewn across all 200 feet of it with the caption "CHALLENGE THE CALL!" .

This dude spotts claims nfl new York has access to instant multiple views. But refuses to show replays let alone review.

Nobody said every play. But a blocked punt...is too much to ask for?

It's hilarious you guys think the nfl are a bunch of innocent Lil saints.
You are hilarious. I claim nothing. I am simply sharing what it says on the NFL Operations website. If you have beef with what they claim about their replay technology and process, take it up with them.

And who is the NFL refusing to show replays to? NY officials don’t choose what to show on the TV broadcast, that is the job of Fox. Again, if you are mad you didn’t see the review on your TV soon enough, take it up with Fox.

As far as me suggesting the NFL are saints, that is something the voices in your head are telling you. I never made that claim, I’m simply pointing out that if you are going to dabble in grand conspiracies where an entire league and network are conspiring to fix games through selective replays, there may be better rabbit holes to explore.

Again, watch the video. If you think they are lying, I believe there is a number you can call.

The 5 hours BS is nonsense. College games have the option of reviewing every single play and their games only go much past 3 hours if they go to OT. I think the whole challenge thing needs to be scrapped anyway. The goal should be to get the damn call right not "to get the call right if you force me to."

Don't play games. You said what you said. It's all right there.
It is very easy to go to the website I shared and see that those were the words on the NFL operations website. I simply copied and pasted. I’ll make it easy for you. It’s the 4th paragraph down on the main landing page.

You can check for yourself or you can go chase Bigfoot…doesn’t really matter to me.

I had no idea we had so many NFL production experts.

No, we just have people that can do 30 seconds of research and apply basic common sense, something lacking by many on this site.

It’s much easier to cook up conspiracies involving 3 TV networks, the NFL, and the gambling industry based on 1 instant replay from a Cowboys game.

We have to have some of the nuttiest fans in the world.

Talk about nutty...arguing about something nobody was talking about is as nutty as it comes.

I didn’t come up with the conspiracies…you did. Again, you need to stop listening to the voices in your head.

So explain Vegas and nfl in bed together.
You call me a conspiracy nut...and yet...you also say nfl (new york) has a ton of instant information.

Now...add in the unholy alliance of Vegas betting with pregame numbers from hosts and massive in game betting advertisements.

We have something rotten in Denmark. They arent even trying to hide it now..

Agreed. There has to be training and "live" techology to help get it right the first time.

But with the help of spotts...we really strayed off topic.

Why does the nfl and networks coveniently not show certain instant REPLAYS.

Not giving the teams a chance to see it on the screen before the next play.

Then when it doesnt matter to the outcome of the game they show the replay five times and how wrong the call was wrong.

like it would be impossible to do that in 15-30 seconds between plays?

I dont buy it.

.

NFL and Vegas sports betting are business partners.

Enough said go sit down child.
You are funny. So now you admit you were talking about it after I showed it through 4 of your posts. I guess I wasn’t nutty after all. Your posts don’t age well.

Combined, CBS, ABC, NBC, ESPN, and the NFL probably have annual revenues over $250 billion per year. And you think they are willing to risk that, along with their freedom, for a few extra dollars by withholding selective replays that can’t be predicted ahead of time to maybe influence the outcome of a game?

And do you have a theory on the number people in those companies collectively that would know about this conspiracy?

Is it possible there could be a few bad seeds within the NFL or officials ranks? Sure, that can happen in any industry. We just saw it in basketball. But thinking there is some sort of grand replay conspiracy involving multi billion, publicly traded companies is silly.

You know debates are over when the “child” comments begin.

You literally make things up out of the blue. I didn’t bring Vegas and conspiracies into the discussion. And almost every claim you made was provably wrong.

They have treatments for that. Unless you think that’s a conspiracy too.

I never said you brought up Vegas and conspiracies. Ever.

Dude you're weird **.

I mentioned this in the game thread. It seems as if FOX deliberately doesn't show replays, like the tipped punt for example. When Schotty was asked why he didnt challenge it, he said they didnt have a clear video. I learned today that the NFL relies on the broadcast to get their footage for reviews. Now I know this sounds crazy but, this seems like a way that a network can somewhat influence the game as well as a way to help ratings. Theres no way the NFL should be relying on a TV network for their video review. Not sure why this isnt beign talked about more. I know for a fact that if I worked for a TV network, none of the teams I hate would ever see a review till much later in the game as well.
The issue is the footage and time available to the coaching staff with regards to challenging the call.

If challenged, the NFL would have all the footage from all cameras.

So bro...they just replayed bengals Ravens. The refs reviewed.

I do not agree with the fumble call ...but nfl and network....REPLAYED on the jumbo tron.

At least they...get this...what we been talking about. Replayed.

That's it....thats the topic. Why does nfl and network decide to replay or not replay in the TV and jumbo tron coverage. It's fully intentional...to make money. Make no mistake they'll cheat like any Corp does.

NFL and Vegas in bed together. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were one of the two. The way you troll and gaslight.

Because the job of the NFL is not to determine what is played on your TV screen or Jumbotron. And the NFL doesn’t rely on what is shown on TV to make decisions.

They sit in command centers and review replays from feeds that are automatically sent to them. And there were probably over 50 cameras collecting video for every play in this game alone.

I showed you the evidence of what is collected and how it is shared. I didn’t make that up but you so badly want to believe everything is a conspiracy that you refuse to look at anything that suggests otherwise.

You do you and continue to search for your Yeti’s. And don’t forget the next doomer meeting is next Monday. They will be providing additional supplies for the bomb shelters. Word is the aliens are planning their invasions soon.
