Didn't he also let rent go unpaid on a storage unit with thousands of dollars of items in it? Not junk stuff, like high end sneakers, electronics, etc. Clearly doesn't have his crap together it seems. Hope he is getting help.
The sneakers/cleats were from U of Michigan and worth a lot of money on the resale market. Not likely to be valuable to him. Looked like maybe a tv in a box and some toys in a box. And there was a nice looking gun safe.

I mean i wish him well and hope he gets better but isn't that something our front office should have picked up before they drafted him,?

Well I hope the kid gets all the help he needs. The Cowboys ought to be able to help him somehow.

That aside, they were picking late in a not great overall draft, and they were due to bust a first rounder. Every team does.

Problem is they act as if that’s never going to happen and every year they rely on their first round pick to be an immediate top end starting player.

Their overall grand plan doesn’t work, it never will, and I’m not sure change is happening any time soon. Discouraging.

I really don’t know how they expect fans to continue to get behind the team when this is going to be the off-season effort.

I mean, the middle of the defense was exposed to the highest level last we saw, and they did absolutely nothing to address DT. Their best run stopper was replaced with a 7th round draft pick.

Hope your Netflix special makes you feel like a hero Jerry. Your ego clearly needs more stroking.

The naive thing here is the belief that if Smith bombs, Zimmer is so great he’ll turn a bunch of JAGs into a quality run stopping group.

Even the best coaches need talent. The Cowboys gave Zimmer little this offseason.
Cowboys have the talent.

Yeah but what’s his SPARQ score? That’s all that matters.

It wasn’t a great rookie season for Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Mazi Smith, and his sophomore year isn’t starting off any better. Smith’s shoulder surgery could be hampering his ability to make any drastic improvement before Year 2, and now it appears other factors are at play in his developmental curve.

In a recent podcast, former Cowboys scout and current media personality Bryan Broaddus hinted there may be some mental health angles to Smith’s struggles in his rookie season.

And the hits just keep coming! That old adage " Cheaper to keep her" doesn't apply to Mazi, maybe it's time to cut bite and run from this dude as fast as they can before he ends up on the IR list for the next 4 yrs sucking up some valuable Cap Space that could be used on someone who can actually help shutdown an opponent's run game.

I am more concerned about what struggles GM Jethro is dealing with outside of football.

Because he's not saying what they want him to say!!! That's all nothing less, nothing wrong with what he said at all
That's not why he sucks. Not even close.

Good grief. You think people want all the reporters to be yes men and women?

Don't know what you're talking about, with our media they have to be because if they do it seems that they'll be shunned away. They only can ask Jerry certain questions to not piss him off. You see how Jane got under his skin!!

Moving along I'm talking about Broaddus a guy that's respected, a guy that I feel has some intimate level of interest with the cowboys, he's connected, he can get guys to speak to him and I don't think he's just throwing things out there like a SKip Bayless would or a QB that's doing ESPN shows who was one of the worst NFL qb's ever!
