believe what you will. I believe the facts.

Isn't the fact that they needed 20 players to play on the line just to make it through the year a fact? Can you provide me evidence that such a high number of players playing on your d-line doesn't hurt your defense.

I see Reading Comprehension isn't one of your strengths. If we were in a tunnel vision contest I might be nervous.

Ahh the inevitable insult when you've been proven without doubt to have planted foot squarely in mouth.

I hope we bring back Ro. Getting value out of cheaper players like him is how you win championships.

Tap here to access our NFL Free Agent Tracker, which includes every signing, trade and rumor.

The Dallas Cowboys are negotiating with linebacker Rolando McClain on a new contract, according to Ed Werder of ESPN.

McClain, who is an unrestricted free agent, is facing discipline for violating the league's substance abuse policy. It does not appear he is negotiating with any team other than the Cowboys, Werder reports.

I have yet to weigh in, but I'm bored so, here goes:

Yes please. Rolando McClain was the heart and soul of that defense for much of last year and should be considered a significant reason for the Cowboys D overperforming their expectactions. With Sean Lee back, the potential of Greg Hardy, the maturation of the other young talent on the D side of the ball and the addition of talent through the draft, the Cowboys defense could make a huge leap from being mediocre. Rolando will likely be more physically able to handle a football season and very well could show improvement in this defense, as well. The value of guys like him, beyond his own tangible and measurable contributions counterbalanced against his knuckleheadedness, is still weighted towards the "keep him side" because of the impact he has on that entire side of the ball each time he makes a big hit on the opposition. You can literally feel the peak in energy come through the TV screen in the plays following his displays of bad intentions and aggression.

My question is, could he be the answer to the experimental "Otto" position described in the above-linked thread?

I just watched the Break and they mentioned McClain and Nick Eatman said he was 50/50 on his return. He said one day he hears yes and other days he hears no so much. He did say that the good thing was that nobody else was blowing up his phone to sign him so it might just be a situation of waiting him out. Once he sees nobody really wants him, he will come back and sign on the cheap.............or retire I guess.

If this OTTO rumor has any legs and we draft a hybrid type(maybe R Gregory) maybe that leaves Brinkley and Hitchens to split the MIKE and Lee as the WILL

......Mincey/DLaw......Crawford......Brent.....Hardy.......
Watson/Draft1...............Brinkley/Hitchens............Lee

He brought a level of athleticism and punch to MLB that frankly we have not seen in a very long time. Before him the best MLB we had since the 90's was Dat and he was pretty darn good but Ro is much more physically talented.

Did you forget Sean Lee played MLB for us?
