Report: Cowboys players growing frustrated with Jason Garrett, coaches

That's fine, Garrett doesn't do **** anyway! I'll take two young and innovative minds at coordinators. Garrett can clap for them and Pat them on the *** all he wants.
It’s difficult to attract top talent if they’re not getting a promotion to head coach.

If this story is true the end could be closer then we think. If this fraud loses the players he is done. Heck, maybe the players want to win after all.

Yep once you lose the players and your message is done, you have zero credibility left as a coach. You can hear it in Witten's tone and voice he does not trust this staff at all and has grown tired with them.

If this comment/rumor came from someone other than Ian Misreport, then perhaps I'd believe it. This literally sounds like a story that he came up with from reading these boards trolling for ideas.
I'd be more concerned if after three consecutive 2nd half curb stompings the players *weren't* getting frustrated with the coaching.

Mickey Spagnola said after the game on the 105.3 the Fan that there was something missing from the locker room. That it was hard to put your finger on. But he'd been feeling it for a while. And its not just because they've been getting blown out recently.

Coming from Mickey...........I found that statement shocking.

So I have no problem putting at least some stock in Ian's report. This time.
Wow, if Mickey is going negative, all hope is lost.

Have you noticed that Garrett only ever talks about how the players fail to live up to expectations. I can't remember one time where he said that the coaches didn't have the team ready or that they didn't adjust fast enough.
Garrett keeps making the same mistakes over and over and over again( example giving Aaron Rogers to much time in this years game, just like last years playoff game) because he never admits his mistakes. Honestly, I have never heard him admit a mistake. He ALWAYS rationalizes his mistakes.

Here is big difference as I see it:

Bill Belichick & Jason Garrett both visited Jimmy Johnson early in their coaching careers for inspiration & guidance. Belichick incorporated Johnson beliefs into his own style. Belichick pivoted several times during his career based on player personnel. Garrett on other hand, listened to Jimmy and basically tried to copy everything. He never had confidence to put his personal stamp on product. So what you get is coach who is incapable of innovation and lacks flexibility & foresight to time necessary adjustments.
Tried to copy the patriots several times only to fail miserably. Escobar was supposed to be Aaron Hernandez lmao. Beasley was our welker. (Do your job) mantra that Gronk called us out on for copying. Dude is a straight up clown. B b but he meets with Coach k, and coach belicheck, and coach popovich. When is anybody going to want to meet YOU?

we didnt copy new england. We were playing a two tight end heavy offense from day one under parcells and never changed it. Parcells offense used the tight ends differently but we didnt try to copy new england and I am tired of hearing people say this.

this team signed dan campbell in 03 and then drafted jason witten. then in 04 they drafted sean ryan, then in 05 they added brett pierce from baltimore who imo looked excellent, he was big and could move and block in the parcells offense perfectly. Then he tore his acl. In 06 they drafted fasano and he was the perfect fit and should have been here for like 8 years. Instead garrett shipped him off for nothing and without ever giving a clear reason why.

then of course 08 bennett.

This did not start when garrett got here and they were not copying belichick, it was a parcells staple in his style of offense. Fasano never ever should have been just given away after two years here. It was an Idiotic move. he was a team first guy and one of the qb's friends. Bennett showed up and his damn family was running around telling everyone romo sucked and everything was his fault...They still do it to this day. The total opposite of a team guy. Played a big part in how lousy the locker room was in 08.

All that typing to only address the tight ends  ok Jason

Do your job? Short white slot wr? Meeting with Belicheck for advice?

a slogan? really?

they lucked into beasley, he was a rookie free agent that they developed and created a role for. They should be credited for developing beasley. I would say dooley did a good job.

Coaches all over the league pick each others brains its no big deal.

Jason Garrett literally is the worst decision in franchise history. We parted ways quickly with so many disasters, but this guy is so stuck in the organization to the point Jerry even called him a ‘head coach in training’ and took away responsibility from him, switched defenses, listened to JG over soon-to-be HOF coaches like Wade and Callahan and got Romo killed because of this guy..
And Garrett hired Derek Dooley. Another poster boy of failure due to surname and DNA only needed as qualifications. That smug *** may be the only person more inept than Garrett
