After seeing the corners at the combine, the must think they can get a quality starter in the 1st or 2nd and save a ton of cap in 2 years when Diggs dead money is done.

Diggs was awesome but I don’t Dallas has the stomach after recent injuries with $$ not working out.

If a top pick falls they can wait for round 2.

• $33.304M guaranteed at signing (signing bonus + 2023 salary + 2024 salary)
• $9M of 2025 salary fully guarantees the 5th league day of 2025 (injury guaranteed at signing)
• 2024-2028 Per Game Active Bonus: $58,823 ($1M)

BTW......IF his release happens, CB becomes a top priority for 12 IMO

Jerry would have to write a check in order to cut Diggs without being medically cleared. I’m skeptical Jerry would do so just to save a couple million against the cap this year.

Only saves 2 million. Best case, I think. I'll go with what the DC wants. His corners in Chicago were hard hitting and covered decently. Bland has to stay healthy and reasonable money wise. I like Diggs but keep getting hurt after the BIG money starts rolling in....so.......... maybe .....bye...
