Have we paid him yet...
Hey Zim, or Sim.Have we paid him yet...
I wish we would get this over with. We can have 50 threads on how we under/over paid. Then we can have a 100 threads on signing Cooper.Hey Zim, or Sim.
You can always tell when it's the off-season on these boards.I wish we would get this over with. We can have 50 threads on how we under/over paid. Then we can have a 100 threads on signing Cooper.
Was the same way on the old DC boards. August starts the preseason. I am excited to see that one series in the first game our starters play. Lol. I bet they sit Elliot the whole preseason again. You can always tell when it's the off-season on these boards.
I was going to be a moderator on the old forum. It would have taken too much time as you already stated. And there was no pay lol be good be safeI mean, there are negatives and positives to both sides. I didn't stop being a MOD for any specific reason, I just didn't have time to really devote the time and attention it takes to do a good job anymore. I have Grandchildren now and I watch them a lot. I still work and I am now, even more involved in family things because I'm at the point in my life where my kids are starting families and need that help and my extended family is reaching a point where they need help managing day to day things in life because they are getting older. It was never a thing where it was an issue for me. You just have to make your choices and for me, it was pretty clear what I needed to do there. I love all these guys, being a MOD is far from easy, but all of these folks are really good at it. This board, IMO, has no idea how good they have it with this staff. They really, really are as good as you are going to find. But it takes a lot of time.
And 100 on how Dak's deal screws the Cowboys.I wish we would get this over with. We can have 50 threads on how we under/over paid. Then we can have a 100 threads on signing Cooper.
For whatever reason I feel a bit more juiced for this football season than in seasons past. Was the same way on the old DC boards. August starts the preseason. I am excited to see that one series in the first game our starters play. Lol. I bet they sit Elliot the whole preseason again.
His agent should ask to be the highest-paid QB in the history of football. It's about leverage, and the longer Prescott plays without a new contract the more leverage he gets in negotiations unless he gets hurt.
Wentz had no leverage yet. If he played this year, and played well, it would have cost them another 5 to 10 million that's why they signed him years before his contract is up.
It's just not smart business leaving Prescott hanging unless the front office isn't sold on him.
He's too hot!Dak's leverage is overstated. The Cowboys can tag him for at least two seasons if Dak wants to be ridiculous and ask for a crazy contract.
Why would you ever do that with a QB you consider a long term player? It only raises the numbers.Dak's leverage is overstated. The Cowboys can tag him for at least two seasons if Dak wants to be ridiculous and ask for a crazy contract.
The vegtable oil they were fried in was not pure veg oil - there was some animal fat/dripping in it to add flavour. Afterwards, they only used pure veg oil.
Exactly. I'm like Dread Pirate Roberts over here.
Well now you need something like "Most likely ban you in the morning" to your Sig
the hate is strong with this one tooPlay out his contract and let him test the FA market. I suspect he would hear a lot of crickets at anything over 25 mil.
nor should youI couldn't hold Dak's jock
Sorry to disappoint you! Thats the problem in the NFL, players want to get paid before their contract is up. Teams that do that are looking for a discount otherwise whats the point. There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting this whole thing play out and why should you care if Dak tests the FA market and only gets 25 mil a year from Dallas. That would benefit the Cowboys and every Cowboy fan should like that.the hate is strong with this one too
Dak has over played his rookie contract so why should he be content with continuing to be under paid? As a Dak hater you like that idea. The Cowboy's FO have seen enough from Dak to know they want to retain his services beyond his current contract so why not save some money by re-signing him early? It's just good business. Why should I care? Because I believe in the fair distribution of wealth to players that have earned it. Dak is good for this team and I want him incentivized to continue to win with the Cowboys.Sorry to disappoint you! Thats the problem in the NFL, players want to get paid before their contract is up.
