Your one-liners are one of the best things about this forum.

I can't take all the credit.

NFL Network said that right now, the Packers will be getting a 4th round pick.

If Favre takes 50% of the snaps = 3rd round pick

If Favre takes 70% of the snaps = 2nd round pick

If Favre takes 80% of the snaps = 1st round pick.

Did Brett do the Packers a favor? I mean come on, if he's healthy, of course Favre will get 80%+ of the snaps. Who thinks he won't?

After all this media stuff, I just want to see Favre fall on his face and have a terrible year.

I'm not the only one, am I?
No, I'm with ya!

If I were the Vikings I would go after Chad Pennington.

What he would be able to give the Vikings would help them over what they have.

Well, we know sloppy seconds is your style. :D

Also, if I were the Bears or Vikings, I would just offer a 1st to the Jets for him now.
Part of the trade agreement is that the Jets would have to give Green Bay three first round draft picks if they traded Favre to a team in the NFC North.

the last two scenarios require the Jets to make the playoffs for the 2nd round pick, and 1st round pick if they get to the Super Bowl. I hope teh Jets go all the way to the Super Bowl.

that can't happen if the jets turn around and trade him to the vikes they have to give the packers 3 number 1's

haha nice job by the packers protecting themselves. anyways im glad he went to the jets because they will have a hard time making the playoffs with him because of how good the AFC is and the Cowboys dont have him in the same conference no more. i actually expect Favre to have a bad year with the jets...

In the NFC I'd say yes, but AFC will be much tougher IMO. As good as Favre is, you're only as good as your OL.

Jets O-line should be pretty good this coming season
They have improved it

Favre will retire without a Win in Texas Stadium...:D
Actually he has one more chance. In 2011 they are running a flag football championship for the 45 and older, for past NFL stars held @ Texas Stadium. I think the date was something like Feb 30, 2011 5:30 CST

The Jet's offensive line is pretty formidibale. But, Brett doesn't have the home run hitter in Thomas Jones like he had last year in Ryan Grant. L. Coles and J. Cotchery are good wide outs, he'll have some success this year but playing in the AFC, he's not going to accomplish all that much. However, ending the season at 4-12 last year, there's nowhere to go but up for the J-E-T-S.

It should be interesting to see how Brett handles the NY media when he blows a game. They are ruthless and he won't be used to that. He could do no wrong in GB.

NFL network was saying that the Jets have 4-1st rounders on their offensive line, so they should be able to keep him upright. Who does he have to play catch with?

I'm glad he went to the Jets just to make the Patcheat's life a little harder. Maybe it won't be so easy for them to steamroll that divison now.

I did, I called it a couple of weeks ago.

It made no sense for him to go to Tampa Bay IMO. The Jets are perfect for him, and for the Packers as he is out of the conference now.

My son-in-law is a Jets fan and was hoping I was wrong as he likes Kellen Clemens and thinks this will hold him back now.

As for me, I hate the Jets and I hate Favre so this is a perfect match for both of them. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! :D
