"I'm intrigued"......................that is code for, "I'm going to need more money"

Too funny if they tried to low ball Deion on the first offer with that ridiculous incentive-based contract thing they have created.
someone on the message board said earlier today that Jerry probably tried to offer McCarthy thousands of micro-contracts, 1 hour length each... and I can't stop thinking and laughing about that lol

Prime is one of a handful of coaches who could do things his way in Dallas. There is mutual respect and genuine friendship between Jerry and Deion, and Prime is evidently interested. I'm warming to the idea.
Do you recall a coach named Jimmy Johnson?

At this point, whatever, at least maybe it would bring something exciting to keep an eye on. Otherwise it's probably another boring retread being brought in to coach.

Odds are the next HC is either Deion or Moore............................not thrilled with either option, but it is what it is at this point.

People literally thought this about Jimmy Johnson when he was hired. Have no idea if Deion can do it in the pros. But that's the same stuff.
Deion gives you zero competitive advantage on gameday. Who’s his staff? Coaching tree? He’s shown nothing to make me think he could translate to the pros with one year at Colorado. His motivational speeches I’m sure work wonders on college kids, but that doesn’t fly in the NFL.

In other words, Deion to Jerry.......if you are going to do this, get serious, otherwise, don't waste my time. Notice the message was given to national media outlets.

Hire Neon Deion, Yoda. You lads were made for each other.

1. Neon can't bully NFL players he dislikes and make them go into a portal.
2. Some of the players might make more monay than Deion. How embarrassing for Neon.
3. Neon cant recruit in the NFL. He can only hope for players he wants in the draft and from FA.
4. Would Warren Sapp follow Neon to Dallas? Nice PR Yoda. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/12269196/warren-sapp-arrested-suspended-nfl-network
5. Shadeur Sanders likely wont be a Cowboy. Neon would have to swallow his pride and eat his words about wanting to coach his sons.
6. Can you imagine Yoda meddling in the Cowboys approach and personnel?
7. Neon would, as coach, demand autonomy. Not gonna happen, lads.
8. Would Neon insist on bringing in the unremarkable Shilo? (Shadeur will go early in the 1st round.)
9. How could Yoda's $60 million baby Dak take to real criticism from Neon who does not mince words like the soft MM?
10. Neon would have to pick between a mediocre team in the safety of isolated Colorado or the Cowboys, a shell of a once dangerous team. The Dallas media would celebrate Deion's then turn on him.

KM is looking better and better.
