I think you guys will be shocked, as RG3 is going to do well, and I think we missed a glorious opportunity to get him. Good pick up for Cleveland they for sure improved.

15 million over 2 years. Interesting.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports Griffin's deal is for two year and is worth a total of $15 million with $6.75 million guaranteed. Rapoport adds that RGII is set to make $7.5 million in 2016 with $3.5 million coming in the form of a signing bonus.

Yeah, Cleveland's going quarterback early unless they trade down. Griffin's contract doesn't bind the franchise at all.

That seems on the high side. Not sure what his guaranteed money, but I would think that amount indicate Cleveland won't spend the No. 4 pick on a QB.

Yea Cleveland will take a running back in the first in either RG3 will work out or they'll be back at the top to draft a quarterback next year

I disagree. You don't pay $7.5 million a season for a backup. Now, the length of the deal could mean Cleveland hopes to get a QB and groom him for a couple of years, but it also would allow the Browns to look at Griffin for a season and see if they feel the need to draft a QB.

Pretty sure Philly is paying Daniel more than that to be their backup.

*correction* they are paying him $7M per year.

RGIII had it written into his contract that he would accept the two year contract if Jim Brown agreed to return and be his running back. Johnny MItchell being optional...

A little perspective.
The average HOUSEHOLD income in the USA is $50k per year.
His signing bonus alone would take the average family 70 years to make....his 1st year salary would take the average family 150 years to make....holy crap...
Now that I just depressed myself....
