I do not have an issue with what he said, "I feel like I'm the best quarterback in the league, and I have to go out and show that." Its up to him to show it. If you were an owner would like guy that says that or says,"nope I suck I should be benched." Would you prefer him to be humble, sure, but that really is not in the QB playbook.

I don't think he was being arrogrant. He was just saying every competitor has to think of themselves as the best at what they do to compete. It's motivational talk, and clearly is what he does to get prepared for football. Whether it works or not is an entirely different story, but when you look at the entire quote he's not literally calling himself the best in the league. That is just how he views his potential and his goal.

He has outperformed both in TC. But that isn't saying much, Cousins and McCoy are not starters in this league. We could very well be looking at a completely new QB this time next year.
