There is a big difference between trash talk and what Incognito said to his teammate.

Context is important but many posters are ignorant to it

Context is absolutely important, and there's a TON missing here. When Mike Wallace, Mike Pouncey, and others are supporting Incognito, I suspect there's a long backstory.

We already know that Martin has had a history of depression and has left the team before. His former coaches are not surprised about this.

Add in a Neanderthal like Incognito, and voila.

And you are getting "history of depression" from where?

Do you know what one the most common psychological problems associated with being bullied is? Wait for it ...... depression!

At least 50% of the population will have an episode of major depression at least once in their life.

I would not call Mike Wallace and Mike Pouncey people who's opinions I hold in high esteem. I've found their judgement in other matters to be highly suspect, so I'm not surprised that they're supporting a teammate who bullied another teammate with the use of death threats and racial slurs.

Sometime life is really very simple.

You just do not treat others like this guy was treated.

Maybe Incognito's mom dropped him on his head when he was a baby. Something is really wrong with this guy.

Once Incognito is dumbed by Miami, it will be the 4th team (college and pro) that has cut him due to disciplinary issues.

People keep bring up Colonel Jessup in "A Few Good Men." But he had a point in his famous speech in that movie. We go on about our merry lives without a thought to the ugly evil of the world and what the soldiers who protect us from it know, see, and deal with.
Amen, bro! I've been saying that for about 2 decades now!!

I also say the same thing about Gordon Gecco's famous speech... In movie villains, there is truth!

love how the defenders of incognito ignore his history

Who's defending Incognito? He's a tool, obviously.

But Martin has issues beyond this, it's pretty clear.

Can you see Martin playing for Jimmy Johnson?

No one is ignoring his history. But when you evaluate the event with ALL the information we know, then you can see that it is not cut and dry. No one is saying that RI is the pillar of justice and a shining example of good human being cause he is not. Does his history lead to his side of the story being viewed with skeptacism, of course, but that doesn't mean he is automatically wrong. Funny thing is the more that comes out the more complicated it gets. People thought RI took this upon himself, now there is evidence that He was told to by the dolphins coaching staff.

So his teammates are supporting Incognito and even saying Martin had Richie as a big brother. Its awesome how fast people jump into conclussions to look politically correct without knowing 100% whats behind the story.

I will just wait until the truth comes out, if it ever does. If not its just a guessing game.

Martin is soft. Period.

NOt saying what Ingognito said/did was right (it clearly wasn't), just saying that Martin doesn't belong in the NFL. He needs to pick another profession.

And all this whining about "Bullying", you people wouldn't make it through the first hour of Basic Combat Training.

Why not? Leon Lett was an extremely shy guy who was scared to talk to the media and he was fine playing for Jimmy Johnson. Johnson could have found a way to motivate Martin without going to the extent that Incognito did.
