Rivers will be traded next year according to him . Rivers agent is Jimmy Sexton
also Parcells agent. Look at how many Sexton clients we already have. What do y'all think ?

Why would he want to come here and sit behind another QB named Drew for 2 or 3 years??? As long as Bledsoe has the fire, is upright, and protected by a solid line...he will definitly be the starter here for at least 2 more years, especially if we go deep in the playoffs this year.

Lets not forget that Julius Jones had serious character issues until his junior year when he got his act together-

If Vick is available when we pick then we would be well advised to take him- Marcus has made mistakes like many young kids do- he will be a fine citizen - his brother has advised him just like Jones' bro advised and counseled him

Serious character issues?

Julius Jones was suspended for the 2002 season for not meeting Notre Dame's academic requirements. That's his only incident. His only way to resolve his suspension was hard work on his academics or he would continue to be suspended.

Vick was suspended for the 2004 season after pleading guilty to reckless driving and no contest to marijuana possession after he was clocked at 86 mph in a 55 mph zone. He was fined $300 and his driver's license was suspended for 60 days for reckless driving. As part of a plea agreement, he was placed in a first offender program on the marijuana charge.

Previously, he was convicted on three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after he and two teammates gave alcohol to 3 girls between the ages of 14 and 15 years old and getting them to strip for him and the other players. He was acquitted of statutory rape with one girl but was sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $2,250 for the other charges. He was suspended 3 games.

Vick's only way of resolving his suspension was to serve his jail time, pay his fine, wait three games, serve more jail time, pay another fine, complete a drug education program, suspend his license, promise to stop committing more crimes, follow through on his promise to stop committing crimes, and wait a year.

Yes, lets not forget Julius had very serious character issues.

Yeah but, last year Vinny didn't have JJ running for him until it was too late.. Not the case with Bledsoe. JJ makes a HUGE difference...
Vinny's problem had nothing to do with the team surrounding him. His problem was that his 41 year old arm simply could not hold up to the riggers of a full season. He started getting weak late in games and that is when he would throw all the INT's. The longer the year went on the earlier in games his arm would start to fade.

With Bledsoe being 8 years Vinny's junior his arm has not yet lost any of it's zip or strength. And I do not believe that he has lost the stamina required to maintain a strong arm all game long throughout the season the way Vinny has. Bledsoe will be fine as long as the rest of the team holds up, especially the protection.

Beat me to it.

just to add to your spiel. ND has requirements that are much higher than other programs. If he was at say OU he would have been playing is my guess. That said he rededicated himself in the one year he was forced to miss and came back.

He learned from that experience and I would think its less likely of a repeat than it was for it to happen in the first place.

with 2 years developing under Marty and Drew Brees, we would be very fortunate to get him from the Chargers, i would hate to have to go through some huge growing pains with a rookie. i dont care who it is, cause this team should be very good in 2 years especially on defense.

We'll just pick up another veteran after Bledsoe. Better to give a "wash up" 2.5 million than waste all the cap room on some unproven commodity.

Parcells said Petiti has learned a great deal from Rivera. I hope Henson can do the same from Bledsoe. I sure hope the Cowboys don't give up on him and have him go somewhere else and become a star like Favre and Jake Delhomme did when they finally got their chance. Eli, P. Manning, Favre and Aikman all sucked their first year cause of all the expectations on them and their inexperience.

Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. I doubt the amount of time Henson has actually played in game time would even add up to one full PRESEASON game.

I know Favre won't teach Aaron Rodgers, heck with all I've heard from Favre he may just cut the kids brake lines. But yeah, give Henson another year.

When the book's author tells you where it is, you take it as fact. Thanks Avery.
