Rivers to Cowboys ?

I would love them to have a LEGITIMATE young QB with SUPERSTAR potential on the roster. Im all for Drew Bledsoe in the short term but in three years we are going to have nothing. If you give San Diego a 1st rounder it will probably be in the 20's and this year Jason Campbell and Aron rodgers could have been had. Rivers is top five potential. I would do it if the price wasnt out of this world

no more of a bust then henson.

thing is, a 3rd rd pick that doesnt make it isnt much of a "bust"

a guy drafted with a top-5 pick overall that doesnt make it, is however a "bust"

its called reasonable expectations...we didnt give up much for Henson, if he doesnt work out we didnt invest alot...the reasonable expectations are much higher for a guy drafted in the 1st rd, especially a QB drafted in the top-10

so, yeah if Henson and Rivers both flop, one is a bigger bust than the other

what exactly are you calling rivers a bust for though? the guy is backing up a probowl qb. meanwhile henson is dropping down the depth chart behind an undrafted rookie. i'd much rather be in san diegos delimma than ours.. and phillip rivers will get his chance somewhere unlike henson. rivers has been doing great in training camp and practice unlike henson.
