Classless to fire a guy on vacation by cell phone.

Totally agree, if true. That made my jaw drop. Totally classless, that's the one thing I felt Garrett had going for himself, at least. I Like him as a head coach. Despise him as a game manager and play caller. However, I always viewed him as a stand up guy.

#1) I don't like this move. Rob had passion coaching was better on his side of the ball.

#2) If Garrett doesn't get fired, he better be on a VERY short leash next year.

#3) Firing someone by cell phone, if true, is pretty pathetic.

This actually pisses me off more than losing the game to the Commanders.

I'm sorry guys but I'm pissed. I don't understand Jerry's thinking. Garrett can't manage a game clock and ices his own kicker, let alone can't call plays but keeps his job and Rob Ryan gets fired for coaching guys off the street because of injuries?

Unbelievable!!

I really don't get the outrage. Ryan had not made this defense great, even before the injuries cropped up. He's had a few good games that seem to fool people into believing he's better than he has been in his career.

Now, if Dallas brings Campo back as coordinator or some other lame move, then I'll join the pitchfork crowd, but I think Dallas can do better than Ryan and am willing to wait and see if it does.

This. You can't blame Rob for having half his starters on IR. That's ridiculous.

So far, two coaches have been fired, both of whom dealt with significant injury issues among their personnel groups. Garrett preaches being accountable, and then pulls crap like this: throwing others under the bus to save himself.
