I'm glad Ryan was fired. His defenses finished 26th and 29th in adjusted net yards per pass and were the main reasons why Dallas didn't make the playoffs the last two seasons. The firing was appropriate and addresses the main deficiency on the team.

I agree bro.....

Never had a problem with him, until today.

He needed a fall guy.....If Rob was the one that exploded, i know this is the reason. Garrett threw him under.

Had he stood up for Rob, rob would still be here. He weaseled his way out of getting blame

A.) He's a good coach

B.) Jerry and Jason are using him as a scapegoat for their own shortcomings
 
Not really upset. I think any number of guys could do at least as well as Ryan did.

I was a little surprised though, because I thought all the injuries would at least get him a little leeway.

Still, we don't know what has been going on behind closed doors for the last two seasons, or what kind of working relationship Garrett and Ryan had. For all we know, Ryan could have been insubordinate and going against what he was instructed to do.

Who knows? It isn't a really big deal to me though. Like I said, any number of Defensive coaches could have done at least what Ryan did.

i don't put the 2 together. up until we had a rash of injuries to deal with, ryans defense was giving away leads every chance it could. in 2011 romo would get us in a late lead and suddenly we get toasted on the defense and we lose cause the D couldn't stop anyone when it mattered.
 
I'm more upset that Garrett and his vanilla offense will still be there next year. They performed horribly this year. Ryan had to make a miracle work every week with all the injuries. Jerry should be ashamed. If he fires Rob Ryan, no way should Garrett get off scott-free...

I would be willing to bet that Garrett never like Rob to begin with. Garrett's a choir boy and Rob is whatever is the opposite of that.....
 
I dont know how to feel about it. But i say dont stop there Jerry fire everybody.
 
Both. If the players are pissed about it then there's a huge problem.
