Rob to the Saints

We'll be happy to send our OL coach along with him:)

J/K Best of luck to Rob.

That looks to be pretty untrue. The Saints actually tried to get Sporano this past off-season. We wouldn't let him go.

but I get your point ;)

i hope the o-line does well and the cowboys get to the playoffs.

Well, regardless of everything else, you're a class act.

Best of luck to Rob! I am glad he landed somewhere and on a fairly good team. He should have some fun blocking for Reggie Bush.

i've been told from a reliable source that parcells was the only coach or member of the organization that pushed for rob's release. that said, it's over now and rob is of to the saints.

Cool sig, you have heart my friend.

That's an asinine statement.
I would hope you don't call yourself a man because that's the kind of comment a five year old would make.

says the guy attacking people on the internet:rolleyes:

Sorry to say this, but anyone that "hated" Rob is an idiot.

And anyone who accuses his detractors of being "haters" is a bigger idiot. We all desperately wanted him to succeed. That goes for any draft pick. When Henson was released, Bill coldly said "I don't keep players who can't play." Or something to that effect. Now Drew and Rob get to prove him wrong. We'll see.

Very well said.

This might be the best thing overall for Rob. Blessings to you and him. Thanks for the post

I don't think it takes much "pushing" for BP to cut someone considering he's the HC. Now that said, coaches may have pushed to keep Rob.

I really hope Rob does well Brees will need him to. Hopefully he'll play with a chip on his shoulder and only improve.

Just wanted to add that I too wish Rob the best, and I know he will be alright in New Orleans.

3 things you can count on in life: death, taxes, and Sean Payton taking our castoffs LOL

but good news Pittdawg, and good for Pettiti, I knew he'd catch on somewhere

That is why he is our Head Coach and not Sean Payton... He makes good decisions...

I knew he'd be picked up by someone. Tackles are hard to come by. I'm sure this will pull him up out of the depths, where I'm sure he's been for the last few days. Best of luck to you and your son Pittdawg. He'll pan out & make his way in the NFL.

Whatever your feelings are about Rob ....there is no excuse for being rude, tactless, or just downright obnoxious.

you hope he flattens DeMarcus Ware? what the hell's wrong with you?

put me down for the crowd that hopes Ware rips Pettiti's head off and throws it at Drew Brees

I personally thought Rob would have been better off at guard. I wasn't convinced by his footwork and the problems he had with speed rushes that he was destined to be a good tackle. He obviously had the work ethic and size for the NFL, not sure why he wasn't tried there however.

You can probably thank Vanderwhack for Rob's release!

Anyway, as for me, I figured he would get snatched up as quickly as possible...a young, strong, smart man with 16 game experience...

Good luck to Rob...
