Sure, but I would think the Dolphins want some immediate payback plus next since they are losing the player now.

It's not a secret what we have this year, so must be something they're interested in. Probably the 5th.

Wonder if it’s a addition or a substitute for D-Law. No more news coming out about contract talks..

Could be a sweet thing. I wish they would sign him already. Let him get his shoulder surgery and move on. Wonder how far apart they are..

I'm actually hoping they trade him. Lawrence has not negotiated in good faith. So I'd take a bleep him attitude and look to move him or force him to sit out a year of his prime.

They have next to no draft capital with only a 2, a 5, 2 6s and 2 7s and very little cap space.

Yup. Don't know how interested the Saints are but Salguero is a good source for the Dolphins.

This visit is potentially in line with trading Tank. While it doesn't require a trade of Tank to occur, it would lessen the impact of a Tank trade.

Would you give up a 5th in return for Quinn at half salary, and let Tank go for a 1st round pick and change? Or maybe a 7th for Quinn at full salary? It buys a year for the draft pick to get up to speed.

You would save about $70m over 5 years making this sort of trade. It makes sense.

We still might sign Tank, but I'm telling you guys a trade is a lot more likely than most of you want to admit.

Have to love our fans thinking the Dolphins are just going to give him away.

They aint taking your 7th round pick.
It's a salary dump for a tanking team. They aren't trading the player, they're trading the salary, or he's going to get cut anyways. $0 dead money if they move him.

A 7th is about all he's worth, give or take a round.
