Rockets VS Fakers thread

Yeah, they got real sloppy at the end of the half...

And couldn't grab a rebound for anything. How many chances did the Lakers in that one possession? Crazy.

Interesting the Lakers bench has outscored the Rockets bench. That's been a strength to this point.

I'm becoming more and more a Luis Scola stan. Loves him.

They're getting a bit more physical with Yao, too.

Nice no-call on the Artest drive...

Yao looks like the old slow/soft Yao from the past in this game. dunk the ball you're 8 feet tall!

Yao doesn't get the ref protection most superstars enjoy - but when he gets to the line... DEADLY.

Yep, offensive rebounds are really making the difference tonight.

Rox have gone cold...

I'm wondering if I turn off the game, they'll get it together.

I've always thought I was a jinx when it came to them.

did you see that? Kobe just took the life right out of the building.

As much as I hate the Lakers, I have to give Kobe his due. The guy is a Superman.

That reminds me of my Mom and Dad. She wasn't allowed in the den when the Cowboys were playing. So she'd be milling in the kitchen while watching the little black and white TV.

As if the fate of Landry and the Cowboys hung in the balance.

Now, how silly is that?

Lol.. I won't avoid Cowboys games. But I will turn off a Rox game in the hopes that they'll play better.

Nice job Wafer on that foul. That wasn't a flagrant foul, tho. Wasn't even a hard foul.

I went to see the Rockets 19 or 20 times in the Summit back in Hakeem's days and they lost every damn time. Now that is a jinx. I did get to see Hakeem punch Billy Paultz in a playoff game against Utah though.:D

Rockets just need a series of small miracles - that's all. Plenty of time left.
I don't know about plenty of time, but they do need some miracles...

feed the big man..

Still over three minutes left - need to create points off turnovers.
