If I'm so pretty, why am I available?

The Chiefs have already cut Curtis. Rumor is that Philly is already looking at him, though they are probably closely watching the TE situation in Dallas.

UVA grad like Ogletree.. Good player but did we really need another tight end at that draft spot? Was there a NT or Center Available? Proctor needs to go..

I'm sure he puts in a lot of effort, but he looks pretty fluid and athletic for his size (and the guy is pretty big). He's not one of these unathletic try-hard types.

At 6'5-3/8" and 250 lbs, he had a 6.8 3-cone. That's just absurd for that size.

Wade's also on record saying he's surprised how athletic Phillips turned out to be. I think he's pretty far ahead of Hannah right now.

These are the guys drafted after Philliups in this past draft. A couple of DTs and OGs, but I don't know that much about them.

Phillips may have a slight edge. Wasnt Garrett his coach in college? Hannah has good better hands and more athletic. Made nice catch for TD. Definetely more upside potential. I like phillips work ethic and all around play. To me...if hannah can block effectively... its easy..otherwise we lose him. Phillips is under 4 year contract. Who is more of a threat to spread the field when down by 7 in the fourth? Hannah can out jump any corner and is a big target at 6'9"

The only way I can see Hannah making this team is if they move Bennett to WR.

i dont see bennett at WR. Phillips and Hannah could be 2nd or 3rd TE for at least 3 teams i can think of. Hannah wont clear waivers.

i believe the rule is that a player can only be on the practice squad for 2 years....but i need to verify this

I'd rather keep 4 TEs than carry a Deep Snapper.

I would rather do that than keep any of the FB's we have on the team right now.

Holy hell.

That's crazy.

I figured you would be on board with that type of move. Without a deep snapper on the team you have no need to keep a kicker, either.

Of the players drafted after Philips, Stroughter is the one I like.

Some of you are really underestimating Philips' athleticism and receiving ability. He's NOT just a blocker. He was a superb pass-catching TE at Virginia.

What's it going to be then, eh?

It should also be pretty easy to stash John Phillips on the practice squad, where he could be called up if needed.

I don't think Hannah would be as easy to get through waivers.

Strike that and reverse it.

Hannah is far less versatile than Phillips, who can block and catch very well. He can fit on practically any team. Hannah would have to go somewhere where they need a receiving type because he simply is a poor blocker.
