There actually are some nice players in the round.

Stoney Woodson from the Giants is really making an impact and so is Ellis Lankster in Buffalo.

Captain Munnerlyn, Nick Reed, LaRod Stephens-Howlings, Julian Edelman and Stroughter are showing they can play ST and might have futures as role players.

Nick Eatman says the rules were changed on the practice squad so as long as a player hasn't played in a set number of games(he things its 5 or 8) that the player can be put on the practice squad. (even for 10 years according to Eatman)

The Chiefs have already cut Curtis. Rumor is that Philly is already looking at him, though they are probably closely watching the TE situation in Dallas.

The Eagles signed Curtis today.

It is pretty much irrelevant as any player who goes to the practice squad has to clear waivers first anyways. If a team wants someone badly enough, they can simply claim them at the final cuts.

It does mean that Hannah is eligible.

And again, it is irrelevant. If someone wants him, they can get him.

It is relevent because neither of us knows if anyone wants him. Nor do we know if anyone wants the other half dozen or so guys we might put on the practice squad.

I would imagine the Cowboys called around and at least tried to get a conditional pick for him. He's subject to waivers, so if someone really wanted him you'd think they'd have made some sort of deal.

The fact he was released pretty much says it all where he is concerned. Apparently 31 other teams didnt see the elite talent some CZ people saw in him.

idk if people are saying his talent is elite, but he's a heck of an athlete

he just doesn't have it upstairs, so unless you use him as a WR, he's not going to do anything for your club

Rule is only 2 years on a teams practice squad. Why give draft pick? Teams know garrett brought own guy in. We will just see who signs him. Worries about depth in offensive line points more to blocking TE also.

Reality is nobody gonna get ahead of beans and rice anyway. More depth at TE than all NFl. Phillips solid career 3rd TE

Dallas Cowboys assistant coach John Garrett, a former U.Va. assistant, recommended the Cowboys sign Virginia’s Kevin Ogletree, left and John Phillips. (just found this) Hannah's gone yeah but coaches saw potential in this guy and i know they have it upstairs. Interesting...we will see

That rule has been done away.

You are right..its 3 years max on a particular teams practice squad instead of 2. Used to be 2. We will know in a short time where he ends up. Not Philly

I am convinced that the Cowboys will keep three TE's, and an outside chance at four if they are going to run the 2 TE set so heavily. Who was #89 last year, that TE that only seemed to catch TD's on goal line plays?

F A I L !!!!
