Hope the bum is finally gone. Or will Jerry beg him to show up?

I just want to see Garrett step and go on a rant...I know it's not the best thing...but at times I need Garrett to just be a man to cut people...

Remember John Roper?

I'm a Veteran Dogface, believe me, I understand.:)

Remember John Roper?

Roper was a journeyman who Coach Johnson could use to set an example.

Sometimes the context matters. He was cut for falling asleep in a meeting.

Garrett makes his examples out of defying his suits on roadtrips decree.

That said, all in all, Garrett cannot cut players on his own. He has to plead his case to the owner. It will always be that way for him or anyone else who coaches the Cowboys.

For the best. If he is not around there is nothing to talk about.

I hope he just is never around and it will just work itself out like Milton in Office Space

At this point I have to wonder if he is angling for his release.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

McClain is taking his rightful place with the "haves".

I wish we could just cut all players that have any drugs issues, take the cap hit and move on. I would love to send a message that those types of suspensions will no longer be tolerated. It would be even better if during the 2020 CBA would allow players to be cut without salary ramifications within reason. I know it's not well thought out and that people may take exception...but we don't have a coach that has any power....we need to have some policy in place.
That would include Scandrick too, you know.

Here's a guy who does everything possible to get paid for doing nothing . . . definitely not a good example for the youngsters.

That is part of the problem. If Greg Hardy was a problem for corrupting the young impressionable minds, why is McClain that much different?

So when would they get it back? It seems to me that it should be immediately if he can't fulfill his part of the agreement, which he can't.

I think it is the rest of the 750k Jerry was talking about.....the first 10/16ths is forfeited but the remaining 6/16ths McClain would keep if we cut him now....

OR the league is saying we can only recover the 10/16ths of the 750k on a week by week basis after he actually misses as a suspended member of the team
