The fact that a consensus top five talent didn't get drafted in the first tells me that the medicals must look horrendous.

There's a few quality DE's still available that would help our rotation of DE's so I'd pass on him initially. However, I would make a push to trade back up into the 2nd round to take him. I think the fact that Jack was pretty open regarding his knee leads me to believe they believe his knee isn't a "ticking time bomb" but more of a concern down the road, perhaps 2-3 years. This isn't just another a guy, this is a pro bowl caliber game changer. Adding Elliot, a DE (Dodd etc.) and Jack along with getting a healthy Romo and Dez would make Dallas scary good.

Supposedly, the Cowboys were one of the teams that flagged Jack's knee condition at the last combine medical recheck. If true, there's no chance that they select him.

I agree with your idea, disagree with order. Take Jack first, and then take whatever DE falls to 45 or so (even if it's just Bullard, someone will be available then)

Unless we flagged him so we could grab him... I wouldn't put it past Jones.

I'll take the chance. Spence would be interesting, but then again we could have half of our defense suspended for smoking next year.

I could be wrong but I thought spences drug of choice was ecstacy. I honestly don't think if we pick him tomorrow itd be something he'd get popped for in the NFL. Sounds like a college party period of his life that is now over.

Are you saying we could get Jack in the lower second round? You think he drops that low?

I don't think he would drop to low 2nd round. I think he goes in the 1st 10 picks of the 2nd round. Either some team sitting there or a team will trade up into it. I would rather get a DE that we like before we take on the risk of trading up for Jack. Dallas have Leary and multiple picks in the top 100 to play with they could definitely move back in the top 10 of the 2nd rd if they want to.

It depends on your medical reports, if the knee is that bad then no, but if not the kid is a top 5 talent.

It's hard to pass on a guy that many people have said is actually the best prospect in the whole draft (injuries aside)... It depends what the Cowboys medical staff says, and the rumor is that the Cowboys are not interested in Jack...

Kid's a stud and he's hurting inside right now. He will make teams pay for passing him up.

If not Jack, grab Dodd or Spence!

possibly needing microfracture surgery. Might take him off Dallas board.
