I'll take the chance. Spence would be interesting, but then again we could have half of our defense suspended for smoking next year.

YES! I wouldn't mind DE if he's there, but Jack will do more for our team right away than just about anyone else, especially considering he's a linebacker (linebackers tend to have good rookie years, DEs not so much). I know it's risky but then again so are guys like Ogbah (no technique) and Dodd (what will he do without Lawson across from him) etc. Every player in the 2nd (or period) has some risk, but right now the potential reward is worth it.

I'd rather us take Jaylon Smith at 34 than Myles Jack...

Some have reported that Jack has some sort of weird degenerative knee issue...

Jack's probably off the board if reports that he needs microfracture are true. Spencer had the same surgery and was out of the league a few years after. It's not a surgery football players typically return from with success.

There are questions about if Jaylon ever plays a down of football again...

If teams that were just competing for the Super Bowl in the late part of the round pass on him, that should tell you all you need to know.. No thanks

Jack may not ever be the same player that he was before. It was only a short time ago that he couldn't run the 40. He has had more than enough time to recover from a simple knee surgery. The knee is much worse than he had indicated.
