I'm of the opinion you ride this out with the young guy. This team is on the brink of something special in an overall weak NFC. Let's be clear that Romo hasn't played a meaningful down in almost one year. It would be insane to put him in now.

I don't disagree with any of that. But my reply was to a different narrative of yours. This post isn't demeaning of Romo.

See, there's a way to prop up one guy without slandering the other. I see both "sides" do this (demean the QB they don't like) and I shake my damn head.

:dance: Point is... sometimes fate just takes you in a specific direction. NE saw the effect Brady had on the organization and didn't look back. Although Brady wasn't a rookie, he went all the way as a first year starter.

I was just being snarky to my boy @Aven8, Zimmy! I actually agree with him and want him or someone to start one as we get closer. Jinx has one up, but Aven is right, we need a few more Steeler-oriented threads. Hope Aven didn't take it wrong :laugh:

Edit -- and yeah, @Zimmy Lives, you're absolutely right, we're getting very few takes in the media on our upcoming game, they are heavily focused on the Romo/Dak deal.

Because an interception on a Hail Mary before the half or one thrown on third and 20 deep in the opponent's territory that serves as, basically, a punt isn't an "untimely" or an "inopportune" pick.

Just saying. :)
