What?! .. and miss these classics? Never!

Ever think you are already on 'Ignore', but I saw your post in WPBCowboysFan's response to your post? (#39)

Nah, you respond way too much to me, so unless you are one who puts someone on ignore but then reads everything anyway, I'm not.

Furthermore, your own post says you wouldn't want to miss my comments. You love me, what can I say.

True, I did say that, .. but don't take it as a compliment, .. I like to read the funnies in the newspaper too.

This one was too good to pass on, .. you calling someone out for stereotyping Canada by stereotyping West Virginia.

That was rich.

This. It's probably gonna be a few games before he's anywhere near full game shape, IMO.

Agreed 100% (+ hoping like hell). I've said it before and I'll say it again, Romo's back problem was a big freakin' deal. No one (including Dr's) knows what is going to happen with it. It is painfully obvious he is completely out of game shape mentally and physically from either the limitations the staff imposed on him, or because he was just incapable of training hard. He may be just fine for the remainder of a long and productive career. He may also never fully recover from the operation and that combined with age may end his career prematurely. I love Romo and will always be a staunch defender of his game and his toughness, but I am also a person with back issues and I know how utterly unpredictable they can be.

If (and a very big if) he is able to recover to something close to the "Romo of old", I think we have something very special brewing on that side of the line ;)

Unlike Jones and Garrett, Romo has done well at his position at times and might have done better earlier in his career.

The tragedy of Tony Romo is being an almost elite QB, put in an environment that kept him from realizing his potential. It's quite possible if Russell Wilson were in Dallas he would be declared a choker - Romo a winner if he were in Seattle.

but damn, given the rest of the country rips him after a bad game (yet it was like crickets yesterday), is it necessary that we do it all the time?

I know that we can be very sensitive at times and this has been rehashed over and over but I just think he is ripped completely unfairly.

Now the new flavor of the month is the Seattle Transportation Company bus driver playing for the Seahawks. Headlines now have him as an elite QB, he is beyond criticism and well dang nab it, he's a really nice guy who helped find a dog.

Um Romo is nice, he helped a guy change a tire, he has won us games and lost some. Yet when he is asked to be a bus driver, he is ripped, see they won when they didn't let him make a mistake, yet the Seahawk bus driver is lauded for being one.

Things that make me go grrrrrr

Careful.

We play the Seahawks this year.

You might be asking if anyone got the license of that bus as they run over the Cowboys in a few weeks.

I hope our Cowboys can beat them...I'll probably be more excited by that win than any win the Cowboys can muster all year...but I'm not sure our team is ready based on what we have seen so far. If Josh Wilson is only a "bus driver" he is the best darn bus driver I have ever seen. The kid rarely if ever makes bad decisions with the ball. I wish I could, but I cannot say the same thing of Romo.

That is a hard one and being in Seattle makes it even harder. Myself I look forward to it, I say that because it is a great challenge for this team and it becomes a measuring stick for them and by some chance they can pull it off it would be hugh to their confidence.

The Super Bowl talk would be overwhelming on this board. Heck, the national media might even start throwing it around.

But it would be huge and it could very well springboard me to the best week I have had all year..

But I dare not to hope that big. The Seahawks have been playing some great football. They are the model for physical play. The Cowboys have been showing signs of life early on, but they may be a season or two away from the Seahawks current level of football.

I'm sure many would be talking SB, me it would tell me what they are capable of. Still it is a game I look forward to seeing and I think games like this will show the character of your team

Absolutely. It will be the ultimate measuring stick of the season. The Seahawks are really good on both sides of the ball; they are in attack mode regardless of who is on the field. I get they had a setback against the Chargers, but I'm looking at that as the exception, not the rule.

The Cowboys face alot of good teams this year, but in terms of all around talent, the Seahawks, in my opinion, are the class of the NFL right now. Very few weaknesses to point to...but that opinion could change based on how they respond this week following a disappointing loss.

It will be a good one, rematch of the SB. Denver at Seattle. One thing they will find out soon enough being the champs you have a target on your back every week no matter who you play

One of the absolute best posts I have ever read on this board and outside of Percy's cold blooded stats there isn't a close second.

Well done sir!

Nothing I write has anything to do with how that game ends up.

If winning was all that mattered and stats did not, Tim Tebow would have a job right now... Tony has always had good numbers, it's the winning part he's had a problem with...
