Our problem is that our WRs rarely seem to make a tough catch. I see WRs on other teams go up, fight for the ball and make spectacular catches. Ours do not for the most part.

I'm sure we'll see better performances from him before the season is over. You can bet your mortgage on it.
...and on the bright side, at least we don't have Cutler.
AdamJT13;3096441 said:I didn't say that at all.
He's obviously too shockingly inaccurate, alarmingly erratic and appallingly inconsistent to ever be a good NFL quarterback.
Like I said, it's amazing we've ever won a game with a quarterback as bad as he is. We just get lucky sometimes, I guess.

Maybe it's just me, but I think I'd have some difficulty as well.

lonestar6;3096794 said:I also think the whole first 1500 attempts comparisons with Manning and Brady are comparing apples and oranges. Different teams, different offenses (Brady didn't exactly have any good weapons until the Moss/Welker era), different era, different starting ages (Manning and Brady had to start at a much younger age than Romo). Romo's late start as a starting QB also means he's not exactly a young QB anymore (he'll be 30 in April), so from a longevity perspective he's probably not going to have the same number of years in his prime that your Mannings and Bradys will have.
Ozzu;3097054 said:He seems to be missing high a bit more regularly this year. I think I read in the offseason that he was trying to go to more of an overhand throwing motion. Maybe that's the issue?
It's not a huge difference from previous years, but it's noticeable.

BlueBandit;3097182 said:this thread is absurd - absolutely absurd -ROMO IS AN ACCURATE PASSER PRIOR TO THIS SEASON! always has been! He's had a crap load of balls dropped this year and granted, he is NOT as sharp as he was PRE broken pinky , so maybe just MAYBE he has a lower body issue. When a QB misses high, many times it's because he's hurt low somewhere.
He could also be a little gunshy and wants to miss high so he isn't picked, could be a mental thing.
