Bledsoe has only had a handful of very good games in his career.

Teams didnt even need to catch up to him, he stands there and waits for them.

Romo has shown some promise, certainly more than I was hoping for.

When do you think Gibbs will play Cambell? Would you like to see him starting?

The reason I ask is because, for the future, I think the Cowboy are one up on your team just for the mere fact that they are getting to see what they have with Romo because they know Bledsoe is on his last legs...and Brunell is heading that way in a quick hurry...

No matter how the season ends up, I think that the Cowboy have found their answer at QB, whereas, your team still don't know what they have, experience wise with their young QB...

Obviously some people don't pay attention to the stats that matter. I could care less what his numbers look like after 3 games, I care about the end result: Wins and Losses

As for catching up, defenses around the league will have more film on him the more he plays. I have scouted him since preseason and I see some glaring weaknesses in his game that will be exploited.....trust me on this. He stares down receivers and in this league that is a no-no.

Actually he checks down, he does not lock on..that is Bledsoe.

Wins and losses do matter but Romo put his team in position to win.

Well said Dale.

The guy has an agenda and has "nothing" to support his point of view-- except for the contempt his has for Romo because his choice in QB's lost his job (again).

We were 3-2 with Drew as a starter, down 5 points at home when he was benched....sorry but no matter what way you spin it you lose, I bring facts to the table.

You see "glaring weaknesses" yet list just one reason. Please tell us more.

And you say you just care about wins and losses. So, humor me here. If Romo were to get us to the playoffs with, typically, 12-of-20 for 120-yard performances, you'd be satistifed with his performance because he was winning games?

And, leading what should have been the game-winning drive doesn't change your view -- in the slightest -- of yesterday's "L."

Lastly, what was Bledsoe's record here? 12-10 or thereabouts? Hardly playoff-caliber.

What? Romo stares down his receivers? Are you nuts! Romo FINDS the open receiver, and if he needs to scoot a little out of the pocket to get the ball to the open receiver, he does! No amount of tape will tell a defense which way Romo decides to go if he does leave the pocket...

Now, with Bledsoe, now you are talking about stareing down a receiver, and you know who that particular receiver is, and it's not T.O.

Also, no tape is needed to sack Bledsoe, because he don't go anywhere except maybe 10 yards back and stop, waits, ducks and falls...

It's over for your guy, time to move on....

I would be lying if I said that I didnt want to get Campbell some game experience, but Brunell has not played bad football by any stretch.

The Commanders defense has been pitiful for most of the season, and the mental mistakes have been killer. Run blocking has been worse than it has been in years.

I dont want to see Campbell on the field unless the Commanders are mathematically eliminated from the post season. At this point even the Cardinals have a slim shot.

Wow, one of Romo's strengths has been going through his progression and checking off to his 2nd and 3rd options. Your scouting is apparently faulty.

Obviously 2 starts doesn't a career make, much less a season, but if there is anyone left that doesn't think Romo at least has a good chance of being a strong NFL QB they clearly have some sort of bias.

Better than a 6 or 7 win season with Romo, at least Bledsoe gave us a chance to stay in the hunt just like he has done his entire career including last season when he led us to several exciting shootout wins.

No way Romo can run with the big dogs like Indy....that's why I predict #11 will be back in the starting lineup by next week.

If you watched last night's game between the Colts and the Patriots you might have thought you were watching Tony Romo at quarterback for BOTH teams.

Yep, that's right!

That quick release; movement and command in the pocket; throwing the hand out, pointing when changing plays, pinpoint passing...all illusions of Romo.

Don't laugh, but Tony's new cologne endorsement might just be named...Illusions of Romo!

Yo Mickey, Mosley! You heard it here first!

Wow.

So Bledsoe "can" hang with the big dogs like Indianapolis?

You've made two predictions in this thread -- a six-or-seven win season with Romo and Bledsoe starting against Indy.

It will be interesting to see your reaction to the ultimate outcomes.

And you've still, not surprisingly, dodged most of the questions I asked.

If you watch his mechanics though you would see the various flaws in his game and why he isn't a legit NFL Starter....I guess you have to be more than an armchair QB type of fan to understand.

I have been scouting prospects for years and I know a blue chipper when I see one, Romo is not one of them.

Laugh if you want about the comparisons to the great ones, but I've become a believer in Romo.

I was the biggest Romo doubter in the world until I saw him play this pre-season and the last 2 1/2 games. He shows me things that make me go... WOW!

I cannot believe how well he has played and it doesn't look like a fluke. He is smart, he reads defenses, he looks off dbs, he throws with great accuracy and he has a a release that is as good as they come (and I will even compare it to Marino).

Take it to the bank, unless we get Bledsoe back into the lineup and provide a spark for the offense I don't see us winning more than 7 games tops.

Seriously who on the schedule do you think we can beat with an inexperienced greenhorn like Romo? Even the Cards and Bucs are going to give him problems now that they have more film on him.

Man you are so full of it and have no clue as to what your watching and now lying about being a scout and knowing what you see? give me a break.

So what flaws does he have in his mechanics?

You continue to throw out generalities.

It's like me saying "We can't start Bledsoe because he doesn't win the big game, folds down the stretch and doesn't see the whole field."

He has won big games before. He has directed comebacks. Maybe not every time (who does?). But it's a blanket statement, generality-based assessment.

Much like you're doing here with Romo.
