SUBJECT: Repeat of an earlier post that you chose to ignore.

First and foremost - let's hear your qualifications. Come on now - if you are going to dismiss most of us as mere "armchair QB's" and put yourself on a pedestal you have to lay out whatever it is that puts you up there.

Second, you made a simple, broad statement about mechanics. An expert such as yourself should be able to tell us what specifically about his mechanics is flawed to a point it renders him incapable of being an quality QB.

Third, tell us what makes you so much better at judging talent than NFL coaches and scouts. After all, NFL coaches and scouts have been missing on prospects for years, with some low rated QB's succeeding and some highly rated QB's failing. What gives you the ability to make indisputable judegements and why aren't you working for an NFL team.

Fourth, how do you "scout" players?

If you fail to answer this AGAIN we will be forced to assume you are a blowhard pretending to be much more important and knowledgeable than you are or are capable of being.

I do not agree with the original poster, two games is a little to early to be categorizing Tony Romo.

The implication in your post though is that somehow we lost because of Romo. The way I see it the only way we were even in the game is because of Romo.

Very true.

Tony Romo was about the only bright spot of the entire freaking mess.

WHAT makes Brady and Manning THAT MUCH better than Tony?
Cuz they have thrown more passes than him?
Cuz they have more experience?
Geeez! Bledsoe had alot more experience than Romo.

You can't judge Tony on that.
Tony Romo is as good RIGHT NOW as Brady and Manning...regardless of what Mickey and his "pals" think.

have you seen manning play?

he works a straight no huddle he calls the plays on the line, he is basically the offensive coordinator for the colts.

Manning is the best QB in the league, Tony romo had a couple decent games.

that koolaid you are drinking is spiked with something hardcore.

First, there is nobody in football history in the same league as Manning, strictly from a pure skills perspective. Maybe Marino, but he'll even be eclipsing Marino in 3 more years.

When Romo has produced at a high level for several years the comparison to Brady could be made but it could also be to someone like Pennington (let's hope not). Pennington is easily at Brady's level from a skills perspective but can't do it consistently due to injury. He is just a little too mobile for his own good, which can easily be Romo's demise, with the Cowboys o-line.

Romo could be the next Pennington as easily as the next Brady.

LOOK!
Romo has an average to bad OLine blocking for him.

Have Romo excahnge places with Brady and Manning and Tony will be ALL-Pro!

Brady and Manning MIGHT be as good as Romo behind the Cowboys O Line.

If you watched last night's game between the Colts and the Patriots you might have thought you were watching Tony Romo at quarterback for BOTH teams.

Yep, that's right!

That quick release; movement and command in the pocket; throwing the hand out, pointing when changing plays, pinpoint passing...all illusions of Romo.

Don't laugh, but Tony's new cologne endorsement might just be named...Illusions of Romo!

Yo Mickey, Mosley! You heard it here first!

If you knew how to read, then you would have noticed that my post is not about Homer Simpson!

Superbowls?
Colts are 8-0?

Manning and Brady are first ballet HOF'ers and the best QB's of our generation?

If Romo plays as well as he has in the last 2 games, for the next 80 games then you can start talking.

Because Peyton Manning is one of the top 10 QB's in the history of the NFL already, and probably still has 5+ years left. Brady has three rings.

Romo is years away from being in that conversation.

Manning is the best QB since Unitas in guiding a team on the field but no one I've ever seen is as complete a QB as Unitas. I'm not the only one to think that.

But I'll support you that Manning is very refreshing in that he not only knows the game but can play it and get those around him to follow him.

Romo shows some good qualities and I see a little Manning, Favre, and Staubach in him. However you haven't seen him do something really stupid yet. And you will.

But I'm encouraged by him and think we have found the QB of the future. And Michael we should start working on resigning this kid slowly enough to see some more but quickly enough to not let him show too much.
