Romo saves the season

Oh, and another thing. I am so damn proud of Romo, I am so proud of Dez, hell, I am so damn proud of this team (team effort). I am just a proud and happy Cowboy's fan right now. Yeah, I realize this good feeling might not last long, but my hatred for the Giants and my love for the Cowboys just got the best of me. I am sorry if I offended anyone.

You're proud of a bad to mediocre football team beating another bad to mediocre football team......the fan base has hit a new low. 6-10..8-8....8-8.....6-5...is an excepted record to be proud of.... a once proud franchise was only interested in talking about championships year after year, but now a five hundred record and beating other bad football teams is something to be proud about...we're the Cleveland Browns of the NFL...oh yeah!!

I dont believe there are fans mad that we won this game.

If they were really fans they would at least "occasionally" post something positive when we won. No worries though - after the 3-4 day victory buzz has faded, and the post coast is seemingly clear, the currently invisible usual suspect roaches will be back in full force.

Because the Romo bashers do the same after losses, perhaps.
Face it, there will be threads about Romo after EVERY game. Just so happens, we won and Romo did fine so here is this thread. Live with it.

I do, my fellow Cowboy fan - I do! And I love it immensely that Romo performed so brilliantly down the stretch. Can you do the same if Romo threw a costly interception on that last drive? I don't think so. I don't "hate" Romo, I just hate the Romo agendas, on both sides. I call it like I see it...live with it!

I agree with everything you said about the state of the franchise, but being proud of a mediocre team going in another divisional rival and desperate team's home turf in a do-or-die game for them and coming away with a victory, does, indeed make me proud at this particular moment. Now, am I proud of this team overall for the season? No! But I am proud they came away with a victory in this game against a Giants team that I abhor and a Giants team that talked so much smack leading up to this game. You betcha your *** I am proud.

We can't be happy about a good victory on the road against a rival? I'm happy with that regardless

Here's a suggestion - stop watching. It's a .500 league anything can happen. You are living on the History Channel thinking because players wear a star we should not be happy because it didn't include style points over a great team. Look at recent Super Bowl winners.

As far as the whole Romo thing, again it's ten percent of posters who drive the anti Romo bus and their ultimate destination in about four years is something close to Quincy Carter unless we get really bad or really lucky.

What do you suggest we do about it?

You really think that fans who hold Romo accountable for the mistakes hes mad really want to see the man fall just so they can come post here?

But, yea Romo and the team had a nice bounce back game... Especially the secondary..

How do you hold him accountable? Does he not get to go to his favorite activity ?

Yes the Giants are a horrible team this season. But yas know what? Dallas just beat a division rival(on the road in freezing weather) who came with everything they had to save their season. They failed and the Cowboys triumphed! This was a good win..............

You know what? I am just going to say this, why the hell do Romo apologist insist on posting these threads about Romo after every victory? Why? Does it vindicate Romo some how? If we would have lost the game, there would have been a hundred Romo apologists that blamed every other player, not Romo. We win, it's all Romo and Romo to the rescue. Yes, Romo took the the team down the field and "helped" them win a game. Last I checked, Romo can't block, throw, and catch at the same time. Why do you feel like you have to qualify Romo's performance all the time. I don't get it? Can't we just enjoy the freakin' win without any agenda promotions? I really do not get it!

I'll tell you why: because we have to yell louder than the idiots who want to rip him at every turn. People who actually follow the Cowboys know that he does this kind of thing all the time. Unfortunately, all you ever hear about is how bad he is, how he chokes, how we need a new QB, etc.

If the media, and especially our own fans, would show the man the respect he is due, these threads would be unnecessary.

I loved the look on Romo's face after Austin dropped another pass. I am so glad Dez is developing and Beasley is converting 3rd downs, so Romo can throw the ball at someone that will catch it more often than not. Loved Austin but he is done

Romo is the lightning rod for this team...I watch most of the game...I can say I was proud of Tony. He didnt do anything stupid...he did as best he could with the pressure he faced. He did a good job of putting the ball where the receivers could make plays. Made some good throws, and did a great job at the end targeting Dez. All in all, Tony did good. Didnt put up any gaudy numbers...but he did what a quarterback is supposed to do.

That's funny because that's you ever do is rip on Romo and you've done it incessantly.
Again, you guys bring up the term "team sport" all the time. But this is the game I was waiting for because all of a sudden, it's not a team sport. Romo was the reason and he saved the season. Explain please.
