I was kind of hoping we'd put Romo in for the 4th qtr but it didn't happen.Dak just isn't ready. He'll be fine in the long run.
If you want to see Zeke really take off, Romo can open up the field.
The end of that game needed Romo's ability to run the offense like he does.
Right now yes we do... But even a bad half next week can change that. This might be Romos last chance at a winner and no rookie has ever won a Super Bowl for a reason. Why not see what Romo has if Dak struggles again? In 2014, Romo went 12-4. Right now, we're 11-2, so you can say all you want about Dak playing bad, this and that, but you have to stick with Dak Prescott right now. I wish we could all get on board, but the Romo love is STRONG tonight.
There's no problem with Dak's armstrength. There is however, a problem with his footwork.
I'm an SEC guy, and I used to work in radio for one of the SEC schools. Ive watched a lot of Dak Prescott. Footwork has always been an issue.
This is absolutely just wrong. There are multiple passes Dak drops back and steps up perfectly into his throws and there is just no velocity on the pass. It takes far too long to get there. Now, this is is okay when a receiver has a couple yards on a DB/LB, but when you need to fit it into a tight window this is when a CB jumps routes. It happened multiple times at the end of the game.
He just doesn't have it. I get it, it felt like we found our guy. 49ers and Commanders felt this way also. The denial stage is kicking in right now, excuses will be made for a while, but eventually enough will be enough.
Nope, Linehan and Garrett did nothing to help the young QB, neither did his receivers. And I'm a Romo guy and I want Romo to start but you have a valid point. Coaches didn't coach well, receivers did not run great routes and receivers did not get a lot of separation and there was a lot of people in Dak's face tonight when he tried to throw. We didn't make any adjustments.
The whole offense sucked, not just Dak. He did his fair share of sucking but the whole offense let the defense down.
Good luck on that theory of why he'll be playing.Because: 1. Romo is Jerry's buddy, 2. Jerry likes to be the "decider." 3. Jerry isn't going to want to waste this record and HFA in the playoffs on the chance of another rookie stinker from Dak.
I agree looks like, the team and coaches are looking for a reason to insert Romo. From what I've heard, inside info, the plan was always for Romo to return but we kept winning and no reason to bring Romo back too soon to add to injury risk they assumed at some point they would lose or Dak would look bad like he has last 3 games. It looks like they are handcuffing Dak so Romo can play. I was told Romos presser was just to keep the distractions from getting to Dak. Romo was always coming back and nothing has changed. The great news is Romos looking great in practice much better than Dak. I'm not sure what's wrong with Dak he's not getting much zip on his passes. He may know the end is near.
It's easy to look good in practice when the defense can't hit you. If I was into conspiracy theories that would be it. lolI agree looks like, the team and coaches are looking for a reason to insert Romo. What theory? That Jerry wants to win a Super Bowl? OK.Good luck on that theory of why he'll be playing.
No, YOU are absolutely wrong. You are literally the only one that thinks Dak has a ragdoll arm. Including multiple NFL scouts. Apparently, you know more than the scouts do. Oh wait, you don't.
I am skeptical too of Dak Prescott and how good he ultimately can be, but at least don't make stupid **** up. You sound like a complete idiot.
Edit: here's just one of many scouting reports on Dak Prescott. not sure who writes them up for NFL.com, but you see the same things here as you do in others. Good arm strength, awful footwork.

By all means though, continue to tell us all how you know better :rolleyes
Dak is coming back down to earth against good defenses. Guess what's going to happen in the playoffs? Defenses are going to absolutely shut Zeke down, and force Dak to beat them. Then this will happen.
1 and done. Comical considering Romo is healthy and on the sideline.
If Dak was is fearing his end is near and that's why he has been playing poorly then that whole TMZ partying thing before the biggest game of the year makes me a little nervous as well. I didn't say anything about him and Zeke partying last week because we won and I am all for the guys partying (responsibility) after a win, but I wasn't too happy that they were partying on a work week night with the game looming that could have sealed the division and a playoff bye. Now the partying thing bothers me. With that negative press and tonight's performance are not going to do him favors in the media. But thanks for the info, I do want to see what Romo can do with this offense. I'm dying to ask who you're inside information is but I know you won't tell me. but you could always PM me, Lol.I agree looks like, the team and coaches are looking for a reason to insert Romo. Lol...okAgreed. But the Bucs, Lions, and Eagles all have very solid defenses that can hold our team to under 24 points.
Even with our fine defensive performance tonight, I still don't trust our defense when it comes down to it in passing situations.
Jerry wants to win a Superbowl every year. So do I. But if that's your theory on why Romo will be playing. You may not know much football...lolWhat theory? That Jerry wants to win a Super Bowl? OK.

LOL the deciding factor is now the NFL.com scouting report? Really? Really?
This is the NFL now. It's different, and if you would like to show me some GIFs and video of these passes with velocity on them. You are welcome to. I've discussed this in the past, provided video, I don't need to do more of it.
If this game gets uploaded to YouTube tonight, we'll both sit down and have a nice little discussion about how he goes noodle arm far too often.
Big Ben hit the wall his rookie season too...no-one is saying that he isn't any good but there is a reason why Rookie QB's have never lead their teams to the Super Bowl. He is still our QB of the future but we are in a position like no other team in that we have a QB like Romo sitting on the bench. The Steelers with Big Ben didn't have that option.
No way dude, this is the only conspiracy theory you'll ever need. This will open your eyes to the real world. It's easy to look good in practice when the defense can't hit you. If I was into conspiracy theories that would be it. lol
Oh, and here we go
http://nfldraftreport.sportsblog.co...escott-mississippi-state-scouting-report.html
"He shows solid arm whip, but is lacking in the power needed to be consistent on his long tosses. His velocity is much better when throwing short, but lacks finesse when going underneath or when trying to stretch the field."
"Arm Strength…Prescott is good at moving the chains, but even when he sets his feet properly and steps into his long throws, the ball will flutter and wobble often."
" He needs to show better zip on his 12-to-15-yard throws also."
Read that and come back for a big boy discussion. That report points out nearly every problem Dak is showing in the NFL, even the fact that he coughs up the ball far too often when getting hit and no sensing pressure.
Seems it carried over to the NFL, does it not?
