Twitter: Romo took shot to return to game; has back contusion

Then why did he not sit the game down when he was hurt? I mess my back up years ago, i know the look Romo was displaying.

He probably believed he was the better option and unless he can't stand up, he is always going to think that way.

He probably was wrong and that's when a good HC would make him sit.

Funny how everyone is hating on Romo for going back in the game, yall wasn't hating when he came back with broken ribs and a punctured lung and led us to an ot win aginat the 49ers.

It's their chance to scurry back out before Tony's light chases them away again and as usual they get crushed and we won't hear from them for awhile.

Hold on I'll be back with your tissue. Good news for you is all the other negative Nancys will be back posting again. I expect to see you in those threads.

Nope, Romo is damage goods and we miss our chanceto seperate ourselves from the rest if the league....cool ...play it like everything is gravey. But we both know whats up.

Pathetic bunch, im ashamed they call themselves cowboys fans

Brilliant! Bet a year's salary on it. I'll even book it for you. C'mon man stand up for your convictions. Not one more win the rest of the year...

Or were you just foolin' around -- I thought so.

If Romo cant beat a blitz...6-10. We all know this is a copy cat league...how much will you be willing to beat Arizona will fo the same?

I would have liked to see what weedon could do.

So. If he played and didn't handle it ok. The result is a loss. And we lost anywY.

Tony was in no shape to be in there. What's wrong with wanting to see weedon try.

Congratulations, you have discovered hindsight.

I respect that answer , i do not believe Romo was the best answer for this game.

Do you seriously think we will do nothing to gameplan against this?

Some people need to spend a lot more time watching this league and see how things really operate.

Does it really matter who was in at QB? When you have 3 downs to get 2 yards and pass 3 times, you deserve to lose. Your NFL leading rusher just ran for 8 yards and you want to pass 3 times?

That is just dumb coaching. Right up there with the last year's GB game.

We had 4 quaters to game plan aganist a blitz anf nothing.

But you'd think that every competitor would want to do that? Especially your franshise QB.
This time it didn' work, but when it does nobody seems to complain, like when he had broken ribs in SF a couple of years back or even in Seattle earlier this year.
We will never know what would had happened if Weeden came in with 1:55 on the clock and at our own 5 yard line, could they have won the game? Yes, but just as easily he could have thrown a pick six and lost it.
If your franchise QB says he's all right and the doctors approve you go with him and live or die with the outcome. IMO we didn't lose because of that, we lost because we got outcoached and outplayed, not to mention the play calling was horrible in OT and for that matter in the 3rd quarter with second and goal at the 3 with Weeden in and we don't run the ball.
Anyways, like I said, kudos to Washington.

I can understand ur argument. When romo went down I was upset. This whole game had me upset. But when he got hurt I was really upset and was totally hoping he was not going to be out for long.

But weedon did look comfortable in the game where as romo did not.

Weedon got the game tied. And I saw romo trying to come back.

I was fairly certain if romo would take the field they would bring a heavy blitz and why should I think this time he would beat it.

He was getting clobbered on 3rd down. O now he is hurt. How is it going to be different. Put a hurt guy into a situation where he was getting pummeled and expect him to do something different. He didn't.

So maybe I'm just pissed that I didn't get a chance to see if weedon could make enough plays plus Murray hard running to get it done. After all, weedon was getting rid of ball faster than room was.

And the overall impression was that romo was pushy in trying to get in the game.

I just didn't like that after weedon took the team down for a td on previous drive

I'll tell ya what. Show some balls here (unless of course you don't have any). Care to bet on your prediction? If the Cowboys surpass your bold predictions then you never EVER post here again. If they sit at 6-10 at the end of the year I'll do the same. So what's it gonna be? Got any balls or just a big mouth?

I have no problem with anyone wanting Weeden in that situation (IMO they made the right call), maybe he should have stayed in, who knows. I'm just saying that to think that Romo was pushing to come back in because he didn't want Weeden to succeed is wrong, that's it.
