So do you belive Romo handle the blitz good this game???? Be honest !
As I said, I agree with you that Weeden may have been the better choice. But to say Romo didn't want him to have success is just bit over board.
Romo probably thought he was the better option. He probably was wrong but that's a decision HC has to make and I think JG blew it.
Do you really believe Romo will risk a loss just because he doesn't want Weeden to have success?
I think Romo at this point in his career feels more secure than that.
Im not hear for moral victories, this game is sicken, on all sides of the ball.
I have no idea... I don't know exactly what his responsibilities are but I would presume he did not. I also seemed to see tons of screwups by the OL and Murray, but then again I truly don't know what they are supposed to be doing either. As a team, they stunk up the joint against the blitz, that's for sure.
What does that have to do with you hiding under a rock for 6 weeks while Romo was rolling and then saying he's washed up after one game?
Romo didnt want Weeden to shine !!!
Who said it was moral. Its a loss, accept it and move on.
Romo wants to win. He doesn't care about who gets to be the hero.
It's amazing how little people actually know about football. You could not create a worse scenario if you tried than Brandon Weeden on the 3 yard line against a confusing scheme of heavy blitzes. Weeden has been awful against pressure and blitzes his first two years in the league. It's literally his Achilles heel. Suggesting that Weeden was going to do anything in that situation is lunacy, not to mention typical low IQ hindsight.
I like romo. I don't think weedon is going to take his job. I think sometimes tony is too focused on himself.
In that Houston game he made a point in post interview to tell everyone he changed the play from something other than what the coaches called and he was not even asked that question. He just had to get it in. Maybe because he has been heavily criticized for changing plays. But I didn't think that was great for team unity. He wanted to single himself out there. It was unnecessary. He made a play and they won. But he had to let everyone know he changed the play the coach called.
So I've noticed little things like that. I've noticed that he sometimes does too much pre snap and often results in negative plays.
Sometimes I think romo just tries to do too much and forcing himself back in the game when he clearly was not good to go is another example of that.
Romo wants to win. He doesn't care about who gets to be the hero.
Move on to what ? The next lost ?? Romo should have never been allow to play again.
Romo should have never been allow to play again.
If that was the case he wouldn't have went back in the game.
I would have liked to see what weedon could do.
So. If he played and didn't handle it ok. The result is a loss. And we lost anywY.
Tony was in no shape to be in there. What's wrong with wanting to see weedon try.
