Clearly i'm out of my mind making this comment (there I said it for you, be nice). Either way, we know what Romo brought to the game, he was able to juke a pass rusher like no one else. Dak is a freight train. Neither player was/is known for being clutch. Who ya got, this should be easy!!?
I'll take Romo from 2006 - 2014, and Dak from 2016 until now. Romo was better than Dak in 2006 - 2014. Dak was healthier than Romo since that time, when Romo could not play.

So in your eyes comparing Romo to Dak is like comparing Barry Sanders to Thurman Thomas? To make it sound like Romo didn’t have good teams around him is absurd! He had arguably the greatest team the Cowboys had since the their SB teams of the 90s in 2007. We went one and done and the game ended deep in Giants territory with a chance to win with Romo throwing a pick in the endzone. His 2009 team beat the 13-0 Saints on the road and finished the season with back to back shutout wins. That was the hottest team we’ve had entering the playoffs since the 90s. We were on fire!

That season ended with Romo turning the ball over 3 times in a blowout loss to Minnesota. Romo had 8 fumbles during the playoffs and 2 INTs. He had 8 turnovers in his three elimination games and all led to blowout losses. The only playoff wins he had were against Michael Vick and Matt Stafford who was 0-3 in playoff games with Detroit. Dak has beaten Russell Wilson in the playoffs and Tom Brady on the road. Brady was 7-0 against the Cowboys and that was our first playoff win on the road since our last SB win. Those of you who act like we had it so much better with Romo are being ridiculous!
It doesn't surprise me that you take an analogy and try to make it sound like I was making a comparison. I won't respond to as you obviously aren't looking to have honest discussion.

You were making a comparison. I’ve given my view and we’re done.

By watching the games.
Dak never had the meltdowns or committed near the number of untimely turnovers late in games that Romo did. Romo’s mistakes were epic. That’s what he’s best remembered for.

coin flip...

look I liked both of them equally I don't see the big difference they have a slightly different game but as Dallas cowboy quarterbacks go it's an even Steven anybody who picks one or the other is a personal preference because you happen to like one personally more than you like the other anyone who claims one was better than the other one was worse than the other are losing perspective they both had the same problems in big games and in the playoffs most of it was not on them it was on the team around them so again I'm not gonna be torn into this ridiculous conversation again no Romo would not have went any further in 2016 he probably would have went Aaron Rodgers style and played one series and blew something out and Prescott would had to come in anyway and nobody pulls a player that did what Prescott did his rookie year to win eleven games in a row become rookie of the year win 13 games and then pull them out and put in a guy who can't stay healthy it was time to go and no anyone who says romo could have won that game are just again picking sides..

And this is coming from someone that was a huge Tony Romo fan and it took a while to warm up the Prescott so I'm telling you right now it's a coin flip if they're the same type of quarterback even though they may look different and play a little bit different game literally gonna give you the same thing
that's it enough said Mic drop
moving on..

I know what an analogy is I just don’t know who Romo is suppose to be in the analogy because he never played at a high level without talent lol.
Apparently not. The analogy was being able to distinguish between player by watching them regardless of stats or playoff success. (playoff records was a comment by the poster i was replying to)

His talent allowed players of lesser talent to be pretty productive. Overall team talent, there always seemed to something missing during Tony's tenure or injuries would deplete it before playoffs.

Your left hand and right hand are in an argument....one says to the other:
"Im better because I only ever got to play with four fingers and a thumb" The other yells back:
"No I'm better look at the Brain i have to deal with!!!"

yup this about sums up the Romo Vs Dak discussions....

Lol! I was scrolling through my IMGUR gifs I have made through the years and ran across this one.

Something motivated me in creating and posting it in a previous thread before. I wonder why…
