I find that Troy does go out of his way. Some think it's because he just doesn't want to play favoritisms. Everybody has their own interpretation. I miss Tom Landry. LOL Rodger Staubach Bob Lilly. Although I am very enthused about this new cowboy team. I no longer have expectations of failure when something goes a little bit backwards..

I hear you. I was just laughing at the comment on how great the timing of it was.

Romo has zero interest in being a DC. And no DC (or OC) has ever made 11mil per year.
His coaching passion is learning the D and then creatively dissecting his opponent.

But I think he's very happy with this life right now vs the nasty grind and very family unfriendly job of NFL coaching.

There are people making more money that underperform people making less everyday. If I had already made several million dollars, was on the verge of accomplishing something that is rarely ever done and most people who have ever played football dream about (winning the SB) and it cost me a few million to put my team in serious contention then I would gladly hand it over for that opportunity.

Outlier or not, Brady’s unselfishness is what’s contributed to the Pats winning SB’s.

Not trying to minimize Brady’s generosity but it helps to be married to a model that takes home what his wife does
