So Witten isn't allowed in....despite being a top 5-10 TE of all time?

Think and then post.

Witten is one of thee top all around tightends to ever play the game , Tony Romo is NOT even close, He's a feel good story..... Danny White took the Cowboys to three consecutive NFC championships, what did Romo lead the Cowboys too???

He should be. Not his fault he was not surrounded with the level of talent Roger and Troy were. As a pure passer he is the best to ever wear the star.

You ever see Aikman play?

I think Romo was a great QB but he is not the best pure passer to wear the star. Aikman was maybe the best pure passer in league history.

First off, you used winning championships as a way of getting into the ROH. Now you are setting a different standard for Witten....

Make up your mind. I don't know what you consider to be "not even close" - when even adjusting for eras, statistically, Romo is top 10-15. EVEN IF Romo falls within top 50 all time for QBs or below that, that's still very freakin' high with how many QBs have started and left this league.

We aren't talking HOF here, we are talking ROH. He was a 10 year starter, set multiple records, has better stats than the legendary QBs that played for the cowboys when adjusted....

He's going in the ROH and you can send him a cup of your tears when he's inducted. Shed them tears, boy.

This thread is why Cowboys fans are not liked in general. It's the ROH...you all act like Romo is getting canonized...

Not an argument.

Aikman sucked in 89 and 90 and was trash and beaten up from 1996 to 2000. He had 5 good years on what is considered the most talented dynasty we have ever seen in the NFL.

Yeah it is an argument. You probably never saw Troy play. Why should I take you seriously?

He was being nice. Tony was a magician with amazing escapability and moxie. Troy was the most accurate QB I’ve ever seen. 3 Super Bowls and super bowl mvp is all I have to say.

LOL he was being nice, yet Romo wouldn't just be nice when talking about Troy?

You have rose colored glasses on about the 90s team, you remove context about how talented that team was that decade. Aikman sucked when he didn't have Smith, he sucked when he didn't have a good defense, he sucked when the offensive line didn't give him 20 seconds to scan the field.

Aikman was the epitome of a game manager who would be considered a middling QB today if not for the Walker trade. Facts.

,......ROH should be for all time great Cowboy players who player the majority of their career in the cowboy uniform, not a player that spent most of his career with the niners...where he won his first two rings..

Very short sighted on your part. There are plenty of players that felt the Cowboys would not have won their SBs in the 90s without Haley. He was more than a short term rental like Deion.
