Romo will be in the ROH

I know about all the feuds and personal demons and I still don't like it and will never accept that he is not in the ROH. His play on the field speaks for itself.

I'm not saying it's right, but it is what it is. He may be one like Lee Roy Jordan who gets in much later than he should have, but I really doubt Jerry puts in more from that era. Jerry already reached back and put in Jordan, Wright, Harris and Hayes, who probably should have been put during the Landry/Schramm era. I suspect he has reached back all he plans to.

Quit perpetuating that myth, He cost us games because the overall team sucked and he had to go all gunslinger. Without him this team and fanbase would be begging for 8-8 seasons.
had plenty of 8 win seasons with him at the helm

When you think of Haley, do you think of him as a Cowboy or a niner, be honest with yourself.... I think of him as a Niner, not an all time great Cowboy.......Haley was a cherry on top of a great rotation on the defensive line but he had three good seasons as a cowboy, he was a bit player after that because of his back... that's not an all time Cowboy IMO, great player, HOF. just not an all time great Cowboy which is what the ROH is for..you should play atleast 8 or 9 years as a Cowboy to even qualify..

The fact that Harvey Martin isn't in the ROH is a disgrace!!
I get that with Haley, undeniably a great player, HOFer and important piece to our championships, but not necessarily a "Cowboy" great. Most of his career was played somewhere else, he wasn't a homegrown player, brought up or developed within the organization and spent almost their entire career as a Cowboy.

Too bad you allowed the idiot to bench him though for mediocrity, when Zeke came...

Oh yeah and call me when Jimmy Johnson is in the ROH, because as much as I love Romo, it’s insulting to not have JJ there first.

You're right, it is what it is, but I'll argue to my death that the beautiful Harvey Martin should be in the ROH.

I'll make a quick point. Think of the time between Aikman and Romo and tell me how was life? I can't speak for anyone else here but my week is decidedly different when the Cowboys lose as opposed to winning. That's just me. Give me another Romo and Dak would have his bags packed by sundown.

Last game of the season in 2016 when Romo came in and marched down the field and scored on Philly, why was he pulled? They'll tell you it was because they wanted him healthy as a backup because that's what they had to say. But they pulled him for butt fumble because they didn't want a QB controversy. No other reason.

He truly was an impact player. John Niland is another from that era I think should be in. O-Linemen rarely get their due though.

Hey man Drew Henson is the truth.

In that game they were limiting the playing time of every player that might be important in the playoffs, and given that Romo had been hurt in 3 of the previous 6 games he played, protecting Romo really wasn't as controversial as you make it out to be.

No question Romo >> Dak as a QB. People love to concentrate on his INTs but his TD to INT ratio is like 4-1. Put Romo on this team and it instantly becomes SB contender. JMO.

Martin and Haley has nothing to do with each other and one does not justify the other being or not being in the ROH.

Haley was more than a bit player and many on the team would argue he put them over the top. He was a key figure on the defense for 3 SB winning teams in Dallas. That is not something you can discount because you feel he was the hired help.

Romo was not going to be anything in the playoffs unless Dak got hurt.
Considering who we have as backups right now, I'm not so sure they were concerned about our backup QB. I'm fairly certain that they were more worried about the media circus as a result of Romo tearing up the Eagles defense. Of course they would never tell us that so we don't know for sure.

So Romo will be the first player that never even played in an NFC Championship game?

Kinda fitting actually.
