Romo "not really" going on IR per Jerry:
Because you are a doctor or because you wanted to pump up your likes? He's going to be back sooner than is being speculated in the press.
Doesn't change his prognosis, but it's good news. Romo will armor up as soon as there is no risk other than pain and be back out there.
David Carr had two compression fractures and missed less than a month. It's up in the air, but it won't be 10 weeks.Because you are a doctor or because you wanted to pump up your likes?

Romo is 15-4 the past two years. They will want him back as quickly as possible.
by the time tony gets back to be able to play it will be like last year there wont be anything left to play for. if dallas had a really good defense they could win some games while he is out but they don't and a rookie is not going to be able to win games like tony would of had to do to cover for them.

I don't understand the logic of NOT keeping him on the active roster. Why give his roster spot to a 3rd or 4th string player who won't see the field? If Romo is fine by week 6 then you just screwed yourself.
Good decision to not put him on IR
Romo comes back too soon, is rusty, then gets hurt again.

Hey Pot I'd like you to meet Kettle........no not Black, it's KettleNice baseless psychobabble. I love story time.
He went into the game with punctured lungs, cracked ribs, etc without your fantasy scenario even being possible. Kinda belies your narrative a bit.

Because injuries happen at other positions.......Tapper also has a back injury and after Week 1 so will a couple other players......at some point we will have to IR a player or cut a contributor because of Romo..... we are already carrying 2 QBs with Sanchez so it is really 2 spots Romo is costing usI don't understand the logic of NOT keeping him on the active roster. Everything you have ever said about other posters Judgy McJudgerton.......you are quick to point fingers and make baseless judgements about people without looking inward at your own bs......remember when you point your finger a someone else 3 more fingers are pointing back at you.....What baseless psychobabble have I laid out? I laid out circumstances that were mutually exclusive with your explanation.
Nice flail though.

Wilcox should be the 1st to go !!!!!!!!!!!Bkight13, if an injury occurs at another position most teams will release their 53rd or 52nd player to make room for a replacement. In Dallas, that would likely be Swanson, Wilcox, Rod or Keith Smith and possibly others before you get to Romo. Being able to get your franchise QB back sooner than expected allows for this tactic I believe. Dakota is promising but we don't know what he is yet. Worry about the guys lower on the roster instead of Romo's spot who I'm sure is somewhere in the top 10 on the roster.
You know this though bkight13...you generally are on point (meaning make points I agree with or agree with my points). What's going on brother? LOL!
