Ronald Jones says heart-condition medication triggered PED violation

Sorry, I don't believe him.
Not now, but I think he's cut by the end of the season.

You have these players saying they put on 15lbs of muscle in the offseason. If you believe for a moment that you can put on 15lbs of muscle in 6 months clean, then you have never worked out before. With a professional trainer and heavy diet management, and maximizing your workouts, you probably manage half of that legitimately, and they are not just putting on random muscle but targeted muscles which makes it an even weirder claim to believe it is legit.
WHich is not what this is about but nice try to defend the NFL

Nice try failing basic reading comprehension.

Every single athlete after getting popped has some excuse, usually that’s it’s prescribed for something else and that they would never use performance enhancing drugs. If you want to believe that by all means feel free but reality suggests 9/10 times you got caught because you were guilty.

This issue is 100% caveat emptor for every single player. The NFL and teams stress to every one of them to ask first. Ignorance is no excuse.
What is the current policy statement by the current Dallas Cowboys franchise...at least the Player's Association would have a statement? Know it beyond assuming a negative?

Takes a supplement while playing with the Bucs and Chiefs. Zero problems. Takes the same supplement and is suspended as soon as he comes to Dallas. Sounds like business as usual for Goodell.

Yup, but the NFL's rules for how they handle meds is incredibly arbitrary. The wheel of discipline is not supposed to make sense.

It does happen. I remember a several seasons ago Robert Mathis from the Colts got tagged by the NFL's wheel of discipline over medication that he claimed to use for his wife. And this is not uncommon.

The good news is that Elliott isn't on the roster.

Who was the player that signed on to advertise a protein powder. And then was suspended for a long time. Because the powder had a trace of a HGH in it. This was prior to the new CBA.

And the NFL said too bad, he should have asked the NFL about it before he signed on and tried it.

They would not reverse the decision. They won’t with Jones either. It what the NFL does.
Goodell is the Judge, Jury, Executioner.
It's God-ell not Goodell.

The league can be eliminated from blame as far as policies education is concerned:

The players union makes all necessary information readily available to their members via its website.

Everyone knows that a running back on today’s pay scale can’t afford the good PED’s. Clearly he is innocent.

HCT/water pill is used to control high blood pressure.

otherwise his heart will get big and that will cause heart failure.
One of my two blood pressure medications is Hydrochlorothiazide. Trust me. I know exactly what it is and what it does. How the league addresses a player's physician-approved medication is an entirely different situation, for which policies can help address proactively in most cases.
