Anyone know if a broken collar bone would, in fact, have him out for the season?

I'm thinking, depending on the fracture, somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 weeks, if we're lucky. It can take a good 3 months to completely heal.

.......................and there it is. just like that...........say goodbye to the season. well, when you put all your eggs in the basket of a guy who has been hurt so much........................not a shock. the whole "attitude" of his was mystifying too..........bye Roy W.: we barely knew ye...................

did I jinx or something ?

If this is true, a safe estimate for him being back is after our Week 6 bye.

You don't recover that quickly from a broken collarbone.

It's not that he wouldn't be able to play, it's that the trainer would never approve it because the new bone formed might be too fragile.

just curious how PFT would be able to scoop all the local Dallas TV and news about this...

Didn't the have the pacman injury also last year?

You want Crayton as the #1? That's what I thought...

Na, I was just refrencing how we traded for Holland and it took him like half the season to be able to actually unseat koiser.

Considering the piss-poor state of the DFW media, then I would not be surprised if they were indeed scooped.

That being said, I hope Florio is full of it.

Whoa whoa keep your head on your shoulders here folks.

  • Lets confirm for sure whats up with Williams first.
  • If he's out are you going to sacrifice what was built this offseason to make things Romo Friendly for a potential problem person like a Brandon Marshall?
  • Are you willing to pay Bowe or Marshall and give away dollars that would go to Ware?
  • Is Marty B an option at WR? Phillips and Wit at the 2 TE set.
All I'm saying is slow down, get the facts and think things through. Guns are jumping off everywhere. Friendly fire casualties in abundance.

Him and Haley working kinks out. Hes a stud w/o a QB he cant be on the block

We;ll make him on the block. 1st and a 4th. Get it done Jerry.

I'm reading that the broken collarbone would require 6-8 weeks of rehab. We'll probably sign Harrison until Roy comes back in mid-season. Wow this is a bummer.

Not really...at all

TO sucks in the locker room but is clean off the field. Marshall sucks off the field.

Hes like Ron Artest

i care about on the field...this is football. that makes TO even worse. as long as he isn't going to jail missing games.

Can we get a DR. in here?

Were not trading for Marshall if its 6-8 weeks.... We can keep our head above water til then.

I googled the healing time for a broken collarbone. For adults, healing can require up to four months, which would allow Williams to return for the playoffs.

Of course, without him, the Cowboys aren't likely to make the playoffs anyway.

I can't believe Scandrick could be so stupid, and -- if the injury truly is a broken collarbone -- I can't believe the Cowboys are so likely to go 13 consecutive seasons without a playoff win.

Yeah, I'm butthurt.
