Roy Williams not as bad after all

vs jets who the hell is baker?
vs Commanders cooley owned roy all game week
vs giants shockey owned roy like always

where is all this roy has done ok in recent weeks?

i find it funny that cowboy fans try to come up with excuses after 4 yrs of the same stuff from roy.

and them same cowboy fans are usually the first to jump all over Commander fans when they talk about taylor.

Please ask any die-hard Steeler fan what Baker did to them?

And more importantly who was whipped all game on the Steelers' defense.

Please...

lol im guessing u didnt see roy playing up on the LOS alot and davis covering te's alot.

i think dallas has learned tht roy is a weaklink. and are taking him out of the equation. and putting him in a posistion where he isnt a reason the team can give up the play.

Smart move by phillips. but really shouldnt the 8th overall pick in a draft have the capacity to do the job that he once was able to do? or his dedication twards the game start to be questioned?

That didn't mention anything about Troy Polamlau, 1 of the "premier" safeties in the league, and how he was picked on by the Jets.

But its cool, go after poor RW... a guy who has played at the same level EVERY year of his career and is now being called out because his weakness has FINALLY been expose.

I just find it funny that people complain about the same old Roy because Darren Woodsen is no longer here to compensate for Roys weakness.

The staff should have known this about RW and had a FS ready to step in and have the ability to cover guys letting Roy do what he has done his whole career. Crush RBs and intimidate receivers over the middle of the field.

Probably the same reason they can't list all of the times Roy has been burned deep by wide receivers this season -- you can't list things that don't exist.

How about Tightends? can they name those? how about the playoff game and Jeremy Stevens? can we go there?

It's all in AdamBST's statbook the one he keeps when he plays Madden Football on ......Rookie level "eww Roy had 14 tackles and 4 PD"

How many catches did Cooley have against Roy?

How many catches and yards did Shockey have against Roy?

Funny how people make arguments with no actual facts to back them up with.

Wrong again. Roy has been in the game when we think the opponent is going to throw. The few times he has been out have been when we think the opponent probably is going to run out of a spread formation.

If this is always the case, than how do you explain the following quote from Brain Stewart, when asked upon the same specific formation that deployed on the first series against the Jets:

"It's really just our base defense," Stewart said. "We keep everything the same up front. We're just trying to do a little better in coverage."

If they are thinking run, then why on earth would they be replacing Roy with Henry?

But this obviously isn't a knock on Roy, because Hamlin can just as easily be substituted with a CB.

plenty in each.

enough for everybody in the universe to dissect them plays.

Case in point.

LatinMind was the guy that said we should have cut Flozell last offseason.

so, you said we should have cut Pat McQuistan for Jason Fabini:p:
I never said we should. I said that Fabini would make the roster. And he did.

And how is a backup comparable to a pro bowl left tackle?
