I never said we should. I said that Fabini would make the roster. And he did.

And how is a backup comparable to a pro bowl left tackle?

yeah you did, you said we should have kept Fabini's experience
No, I said that Parcells would keep him in 2006 because of his experience. And I was right.

Over McQuistan or over Pettiti. I said he would make it over one of the two. And, once again, I was right.

And once again, I wasn't advocating for it. I was predicting it.

No, obviously we were going to keep 2 of the 3.

Over Colombo, because I didn't expect him to be as good as he was. No one did, really.

Actually, he is starting in Washington. But I'm not sure what this has to do with anything at all.

lol, no, you said that if it came down to either Fabini, McQ or Colombo, Fabini would be the one we would keep

you changed it to your current form because I deftly explained to you that BP was in absolute love w/ McQ

If this is always the case, than how do you explain the following quote from Brain Stewart, when asked upon the same specific formation that deployed on the first series against the Jets:

If this is always the case, than how do you explain the following quote from Brain Stewart, when asked upon the same specific formation that deployed on the first series against the Jets:

"It's really just our base defense," Stewart said. "We keep everything the same up front. We're just trying to do a little better in coverage."
If they are thinking run, then why on earth would they be replacing Roy with Henry?

But this obviously isn't a knock on Roy, because Hamlin can just as easily be substituted with a CB.

In case the opponent does pass. But if we thought they obviously were going to pass, we would go to the 3-3, the dime or the nickel -- like we do in passing situations.

When you think the opponent IS going to pass -- such as on third-and-long -- you don't stick with the 3-4.

As has been the case at times, according to Wade.

You're absolutely right. He's one of many underwhelming safeties in the league right now. It's like taking first prize in an ugly contest. That blue ribbon on your wall might look awfully nice, but at the end of the day, you're still ugly.
LOL...you are one funny dude. We need more posts like this one.

We played the exact same formation later in the game with Roy over the top instead of Hamlin.

I really get amused by those who slam a player because of his draft position - like he had anything at all to do with the team picking him at that spot.

I am not saying Willimas is great in coverage but I do believe that the Cowboys knew going in at that pick that his strength was not being able to cover like a FS but more of a force at the line of scrimmage.
