LOL... You know that Romo and Ogletree have chemistry equal to that of Romo and Miles or Romo and Witten, etc., based on one pass?

We may be wise, but we're not clairevoyant. We can't compete with you.

:laugh1:
Some actually thought Ogletree should have been the starter, even before his spectacular one reception game today...

The fact it wasn't a route pretty much killed your argument whether you rephrase it or not.

my arguement was why does it take RW'S a year an a half to get on the same page as Romo ?????????

why does he get a free ride - Dallas pays the 45 mil plus draft picks

and he can't get on the same page as Romo ????????? in a year an a half

an evidently your not worried

well IMO it was a bad trade from Day one

RW's is a bust

What does my post have to do with Madden?

The way you described that RW running slow thing and Romo adjusting to account for said slowness just reminded me of clicking options in Madden and going to work. :)

I'm pretty sure we could have had Harvin with the first we gave up for Roy and still have had a huge amount of money to try and sign an upper echelon player in free agency. That player could very well have been Roy Williams if Jerry still wante to invest in another WR so he could drop TO.

Harvin would have looked great in a Cowboys uni. If I do recall, there were some questions about his character, and we were in the midst of getting rid of questionable characters... That said, fat chance we would have picked him. Sucks though because Harvin is a machine...

No, you said that it appears that Romo and O-Tree are on the same page... based on one pass. Are you psychic?

Oh my bad... You "know" football players. OK. I can't believe I've questioned you. Please accept my apologies...

I think that was after the option route where Romo threw outside and Roy went up. Can't know for sure, but I still think Roy made the right option there. If Romo hits him in stride, Roy has only one safety between him and the endzone. Possibly a TD there.

Then if Romo isn't completely off on those other two "drops" by Roy, you're looking at 5 catches for 80+ yards and 2 TDs.

I agree that was 100% the correct call by Roy and Romo missed it, costing the team a huge play and probably a TD (I can't remember how that drive finished right now).

If I'm wrong and Romo's read is what the Cowboys were going for, then Garrett needs to rework how his systems option routes. It's pretty stupid in that situation not going for the big play which would be about 3 times easier to complete than the average gain. Roy's route is also a much better route for him to be running anyway.

Some of the problems are on Roy, some are on Tony, and sometimes it's both. Roy needs to stop with the drops, Romo needs to stop missing so bad sometimes, and they need to get on the same page the rest of the time.

Funny how Miles doesn't seem to have the ball thrown behind him or 2 feet over his reach. Listen, this aint all route running. Romo missed a couple of different WRs today. This was not one of his most accurate outings. I think it sucks that you blame Williams for not catching balls he clearly had no ability to catch but hey, it's a business. I guess if the coaching staff agrees, they'll sit him. If not, all you guys can continue to complain. Either way, I doubt it will be boring.

yea but what about last week when dropped three that hit him in the hands opps then drop them

What upper echelon player? The Cowboys had the 2nd least amount of money spent against the salary cap. Cowboys could sign anyone they want just like Snyder does. Fact is, that person wasn't out there.

He had a bad game last week. However, I've seen more poor throws from Tony to Roy then I have drops. He should not drop balls. I agree with that but this is not just Roy here. I think it's wrong to look at it and say, Roy's a bad player. Tony is missing receivers high and behind consistantly. I don't know why but I see it happening in every game. You can't tell me that Roy is running the wrong routes consistantly when he is getting open. If that's the case, sight adjust. We don't run a timing based offense so a sight adjust on the part of the QB is not unheard of. It happens in the NFL with every QB in every game.

I don't know who commented on it earlier but they were correct. Breaking off a route when you could make the defense pay for 6 is the way you stop teams from blitzing. If you have a guy beat deep for 6, make them pay. That's how you do it.

Doesn't make it not true.

It's amazing how so many throws to him are so off target. Maybe it's Roy's fault. I think it's just strange coincidence so far.

Obviously, ahem, Roy is just a bit off sync. They can still create some magic this season.

Pretty much debunks the wonderlic as a measure of talent. Dan Marino scored a 16.
