RUMOR: Ha ha Deadskin Brunell may retire!!

I was laxing over at a Deadskins site and run cross this postings on Brunells status:

Oh Lordy wood this be some great news for my heart! I hopeded something bad will happens at them Deadskins and it look like my prayer be answered with a big YESS from on high.

No guarantees yet. Could still be just a rumors of foul but like the good book say wear they is smoke they is fire for sure.

I actually don't want Brunell to retire. His best years are far behind him. Campbell could end up being far more mobil even if he isn't seasoned yet.

I don't care what Brunnel does/doesn't do. All I care about is that we play top flight against all NFL East teams cause we can't afford to screw up again like we did last year. We did beat Eagles twice and splite with Giants, but losing both games against Skins cost us heavily. If we'd have won that game we would have ended up 10-6 and Skins would have been 9-7. We have to end up with NLT a 4-2 record against Eagles, Giants, Skins.

Who cares? All players being healthy I think Dallas matches up well vs. Washington. What defeated us was our conservative tack against them more than anything else. As for the game in Washington they caught us on the best day possible for them. Emotional blowouts like that happen from time to time, just ask Washington what happened to them in New York earlier in the year.

yo... the Skins were 5-6 last year, how many 5-6 teams make the playoffs then talk SUPERBOWL the next year? They were not that good last year, they had a good run to end it thats all just like the BILLS did the year before!

Brunells stats were a joke in the second half of the season please look at them along with Moss' stats! I hope to high heaven Brunell plays... then the Skins fans wont be using it as an excuse when they lose 10 games!


most of Brunells key plays is when he is able to make people miss in the pocket and deliver the ball... any other time he stares down his WR (look at the replay of the 2 TDs to MOSS last year) leaving no doubt where he is going with the ball! Why else do the skins go out and get 2 more WRs... the guy is a bumb with a nice deep ball and some pocket pressence... now with bad knees and a thumb you want him to retire?


SKins fans better hope KERRY COLLINs can still play!!!
