The thing that worries most Skins fans about Brunell is that he really doesn't have much to prove this off-season. Last year at this time Ramsey (puke) was named the pre-camp starter so Brunell was playing to save his career.

This time around Brunell can pretty much sit back because the job is his.

One can hope Campbell is ready to compete and give Mark a good competition in camp.

Henson to DC? LOL!

Brusmell will not retire on his own...

However, one of the Cowboy defenders will assist in his decision to call it quits!!

It will be know as "The Aikman Payback"...!

:dissskin: on Brusmell....

Anyone that calls Bledsoe a bum has no football credibility at all. Bledsoe is a statue with some problems throwing picks but he is no bum. Hutch, Q, Leaf are bums. Unless you cannot tell the difference.

Sorry.

But my criteria is different. You have to throw less than 17 INTs to be considered a non-bum (if you are a starting QB)

That's my dog Gibbs' job...just like a dog that sniffs out drugs, or sniffs through rubble to save lives...I trained Gibbs to urinate on things that stink, and as you can see, he is well trained.

A dumb rumor with no truth to it IMO.

Brunell is just like Bledsoe in that he's simply a veteran bus driver for them to get as far as they can as quick as they can. Unlike us though, Campbell is the future where we don't really have one.

Hensonites and Romophiles might hate to say it, but if Bledsoe goes down, we're up the creek.

Campbell MAY be the future for the skins but he has shown nothing to warrant anything more. Hope is all- nothing else.

So Farve has been a bum for a lot of his career?

It was a tongue-in-cheek comment. I used the cutoff of 17 bec. Bledsoe threw 17 INT's last season......

It was merely a joke.

However, to address your point, Farve has had 6 seasons of where he has thrown 17 INTs or more.

Of those 6 seasons.....3 of those 6 were coupled with him throwing 30 or MORE TD's in that season...

Having backups that have absoutely NO experience at the NFL level...

Yet we're all waiting for Eli Manning to be GREAT. When I say "we," I mean his media sycophants.

I doubt this is true.

If it is true, then I hate it for Brunell. I think he's a great guy. A couple of years ago, I wanted us to sign him.....we got VinnyT instead.

I would love to see our teams go at it with both teams at full strength. I think we're very evenly matched. The fourteen-thirteen game last year was more indicative of where our teams were than the last game when we were devestated with injuries.

BUT, vintage, you said NOTHING about TD's. ONLY INT's. So are you changing your criteria now?

Portis was kidding around on NFL network a few weeks back and some spjunkies fan took it seriously. Brunell is going to get plenty of rest up through TC so he can sustain himself further into the season. That's the basic jist of this whole situation. That and listening to anything sports related on the sports junkies show is a mistake. Last year Brunell had to fight through training camp and act as the second stringer. He took alot more snaps as a result. The Skins feel that if they give more time to JC and less to Brunell, he might last out the regular season better.

You mean you don't love EB screaming about how great the Skins are?

Interesting....
